ever heard the saying no smoke without fire, who would think mj would do such a thing, but who would think there nextdoor neighbour would do it either, who would think there own father would do it, but they do. just because he has money and talent don't make him any different from any other man with his sort of problem. |

I really wouldnt take much notice of what his ex wife says anyway! Not that long ago she was concerned at the way Jackson was bringing up her kids...!!! Now to hear her talk he should be in line for the next father of the year award! This from a woman who basically 'sold' her children to him. Makes me wonder how much she will recieve for lying on the stand! She is another person with little or no morals...Bev |

Have to say I have always found him to be a talent free zone. I've never understood all the hysterical worshipping of his so-called 'musical genius'. Only God, MJ and the boys involved know what truly went on. |

I agree with lots of comments on here, especially that MJ has serious mental problems and, from the little I've read and heard about him, no wonder. First of all he never had a proper childhood - that counts for a lot. He has always lived with fame i.e. in a strange world (or rather on another planet). I wonder if he has ever been sure or ever known who his real friends were. He probably never even trusted his own father - what a thought! Why didn't his plastic surgeon ever try to refer him to a psychiatrist instead of accepting to disfigure him bit by bit? On the other hand how can you force someone to go for psychiatric help. How many of us would have come out unscathed after all that. Yes, I also think that he is very talented, but whatever happens now, his career will probably be non existent. And what about his young fans, many of whom are probably feeling pretty shocked, confused and/or disappointed by everything they are reading and hearing about him now. I also agree - what wierd parents - knowing what the rumours were/are - how could they have allowed their child(ren) to stay alone with him? I do not know how anyone can judge what's true and what's not true about him. Just a pity that no-one offered to help him YEARS ago. He would probably never have got into this state. It's all quite sad. |

Ok Gary, shall we call a truce? Honestly though, I really don't know whether to believe that he is guilty or not. I would like to think not, but who knows? I really am not taking his side! But I still don't think that we will ever find out the truth, no matter what the outcome of the trial. Also think that he is a very sad and lonely man. Maggy |

I'm not in a position to decide if he's guilty or innocent... I do think he's very strange and probably needs help of some sort. He's also very rich, and I can't help but wonder why, as parents, those people let their children be with him. It's not like his strangeness started just last month; he's been 'that way' (whatever that is) for years. Those parents knew how he was and still they send their kids to him. Wonder why? Brenda |

But Gary, would you have let your 10 year old stay with him anyway. What sort of parents let their kids stay with strangers. Not the sort of thing that I would have let my kids do. Maggy |

Maggy, i agree these lyrics may give a reason why, but 10 year old boys staying in the same room, for me no excuse, the electric chair for me. |

Just been listening to a track from Emma (daughters) cd. She told me to listen to 'Childhood, theme from Free Willy 2'. One line in it says 'Before you judge me, try hard to love me, the painful youth I've had. Have you seen my childhood....... I have to agree with her, it does make you think... |

Jean, Just been discussing him with my daughter, who is 22 and she has always been his biggest fan. She also has a lot of sympathy for him and thinks that he is innocent, but also thinks that he needs help himself. Maggy |

Personally I think he is asexual. I honestly do not believe he abused those boys. I think he is a child himself. Every time I see him on the news I feel so sorry for him. All his talent and all his money counts for nothing. I was most surprised to find that my 18 year old grandson also thinks he his innocent. Somehow I thought the younger generation might have judged him harshly. Jean x. |

Hi everyone, back again (long phonecall from my stressed out student daughter!) glad that things have finally been sorted. Can we just keep the thread going now? I'm not easily offended and we are all entitled to our opinions, but please, no more abuse. Maggy |
