Have just been sorting through my daughters cd collection and have come across her Michael Jackson cds. Just started wondering, do people think that he is guilty or not? Maggy

Val Report 27 Apr 2005 23:33

If he hadn't paid the boy off years ago when he was accused the first time I might have said he didn't but if he was innocent why pay him to drop charges he paid him 20 million dollars

Pat Report 27 Apr 2005 23:39

He is either guilty or very stupid judging by what he has done to himself I reckon he is very stupid, he could be both. Other than that i cannot say, think it is wrong to judge people from what the media say, without hearing ALL the evidence i think its wrong to jump to conclusions. Pat x

He has paid more than one boy off, what are we supposed to think?? Now his childrens mother is turning the tables on him???? Karen

Sam Report 27 Apr 2005 23:44

I wouldn't like to say whether he is guilty of actual abuse or not. But, what i will say is that I think he is a total fruitcake and whether the allegations are true or not, he put himself into positions with children that should never have happened. His actions are/were not normal for a man of his age and he must have some serious mental health issues. Sam

Gary Report 27 Apr 2005 23:55

a man in his position, would normaly have page 3 babes all over the place, how many normal single men do you know that have young boys to stay, dont be blinded by fame, if he lived up your street you would come to a conclusion, if he lived up my street, he would be drag up the street behind a car, not judging him.

as is often the case, I agree totally with Pat

I think that if he is innocent, he has been very stupid, but I don't think that we will find out the full story. Listening to some of his music, which I have been doing tonight, I find it hard to believe that he would abuse children, but I also think that he is very strange, so who knows? Maggy

His behaviour was certainly inappropriate. The fact that he cannot see this is a problem for me. I'll wait to hear all the evidence but there has certainly been emotional/psychological abuse, on his own admission, although he doesn't seem to realise that. Would I let a child of mine stay at his ranch? No. So I guess I do think he is guilty. Gwynne

i think he has serious mental health problems he is the same age as my hubby but acts like a child the man isnt normal i also think that he is guilty. why else would he pay his so called victims parents off and then try to arrange a one way ticket to brazil to keep them quite? susie susie

I really don't know whether or not he's guilty of physical child abuse but he is certainly guilty of creating an inappropriate and unreal atmosphere that seems to have messed with a lot of childrens minds. But I think that Jackson's staff and the parents of the children have all acted apallingly given that this situation has gone on for such a long time.

I think he's innocent.

Gary Report 28 Apr 2005 07:56

Can i just say to all you who wil not judge Jackson, unless you have seen all the evidence, when men who do what i think he has done, they do it out of sight of anybody else, so a true picture of what has happened can never be presented, and as a boy of 8, who when my father had just died, a neighbour abused me for a few months, until my mother came home early and caught him, but he was devious and would have got away with it, and then some of you just have loved his music and so cant possably think hes guilty, you are very nieve, i hope if a single man up the street starts a band up and then asks you to let your under 10s sleep over, you would not allow it. of coarse you would not.

DONNA66

DONNA66 Report 28 Apr 2005 08:01

I think he is guilty, if you are innocent why on earth would you pay someone off that just about admitting you are guilty, plus I also think he has lost the plot Donna

McDitzy Report 28 Apr 2005 08:02

I wouldn't like to say if he's guilty or not (innocent until proven guilty is my motto). I think he's extremely naive and troubled though. I think it's also slightly strange that his children have white skin and blonde hair!!

McDitzy Report 28 Apr 2005 08:04

Gary - just because we think not to judge him just yet, does not mean we're insensitive to child abuse at all. But at the moment, he is just accused, who are we to say that he is guilty or not? We were not there. We're not the jury either. I am quite offended by your last statement. Don't presume to know us (or me) and that our lives have not been effected by child abusers.

Gary i can see what you are saying, however none of us will see the real evidence, that is why people are not saying if they think he is guilty, i didnt see anyone write they think he is innocent because they like his music, its not people being naive its people saying what they think without the evidence infront of them, most have said if he isnt innocent he has mental issues, i do sympathis what you have been through but i think its out of order saying people are naive for haveing an opinion, please dont take offence kimx

Kim and Chloe thanks for your input, can i just make this point on Courts and Evidence, i have always lived in Rough areas with an higher than averige mix of Criminals and Fighters and on occasion (after many offences they have not been caught for) they end up in Court, about 60% of the time they get a Not Guilty, they know if they Charm the Jury and there paid for by the state barrister discredits the witnesses, they will get away with it, but in 99.9% of the cases they have got away with they were guilty of that crime, but it was just not proven, i know one guy who when drunk is a Fighter and has seriously assulted people om many occasion, but when he ends up in Court , he acts up to the jury so much puts on big thick rimed glsasses and looks as stupid as he can, and ends up looking the victim and gets away with it, i havent got that convidence, but thats all it takes sometimes to hoodwink people. most people on the Jury have never been in court before, and are good people, just like most of you on here and mostly see the Good in all, so a conman is half way there, the judges sometimes must see the Jury leting off someone they know is guilty, most crims always opt for Jury trial, they know there chances are better than just a Judge who as seen all this before
