Maz from Cornwall

Maz from Cornwall Report 28 May 2005 22:42

My youngest son (16 year old) has had an asthma attack, he is home again now, but we have to see what tonight brings, to find out if he will need to be admitted! I so hate it when my children are poorly and I have never asked this before, but can I have a hug to-day please, it has left me feeling a little emotional! Maz x **** Well I have just got back from another visit to the hospital with my son. He has pluresy, which is what I suspected, and he has pain on breathing in. He has still not been admitted as there is a bed shortage here at the moment, and the doctor also said that due to picking up more infection, he is probably better off at home! So it is going to be a long night by the looks of it! Thanks to all who have left hugs, I am wrapping myself very tight in them at the moment, as I am feeling rather low! Bless you all Maz x ****

Hope all is well now. I've never had any experience with an asthma attack but it must be very scary.

Huge hug Maz - a terrifying time for both of you. Considering your own health problems, I expect you were frantic. I had 11 days in hospital with my first asthma attack. It is sometimes so difficult to make people understand how serious asthma can be. Love and (not too tight) Hugs to you both Magsxxx

Lots of hugs for you and your son, I suffer myself with asthma and so do two of my children. Had two very bad attacks this year. Keep relaxed, keep your son relaxed and hopefully you will all get a good nights sleep. But I know how difficult that will be for you. Take care of yourselves. <<<<<<<<<<<HUGS ALL ROUND>>>>>>>>>>>
