Hi All, I've had a baby boy, Daniel Frank Maynard born 7 weeks early 15.06.05 weighing 4lb 2oz. He was born by emergency C-Section. He's in an incubator but is breathing on his own. A little jaundiced but otherwise ok so far. I was very ill and suffering from a rare complication called HELLP Syndrome. My liver had started to shut down and was poisoning me and baby. The only option to save both of us was to deliver. We are both very lucky. I came home last night but Daniel will be in the SCBU (Special Care Baby Unit) for another few weeks. Naomi xx
