depends what kind of place. if everyone is eating then we sometimes have to tell the landlord rough numbers. but if you just turned up you would be more than welcomed anyway. i was afraid it would be a bunch of train spotter geeky types!! lol! couldnt be more wrong! it was right laugh and everyone was real friendly and nice.

I'll see what my hubby says, this family history thing drives him mad but he might say yes. Only thing is we are hoping to go to Gosport in 2 weeks times for the day, and he may not want to drive that way again, but P'mouth not that far. Do we have to let you know or can we just turn up?

Poolmaster

Poolmaster Report 17 Aug 2005 13:43

SATURDAY 24th SEPTEMBER 1.00pm. Gunwharf centre. At Portsmouth Harbour at the foot of that new concrete stick. It's beside Portsmouth Harbour Railway Station, the Bus Terminus, The Isle of Wight Catamaran and the Gosport Ferry. Plenty of Pubs for those seeking alcoholic bewilderment, shops for those in need of retail therapy, Boat trips for those seeking adventure and pleasant views for those who just want to chill. Jim (appointed by Paul {from Hampshire} to organise this thing)

Great! So where is Gunwharfe....... And by the way how do you get your name to come up with brackets or pictures or even change it to something else? I'd like mine to be slightly more interesting.
