Complaining? Who's complaining? We'll have no complaining here! This is a local thread for local people.

Don't stick your head out to far Grampa otherwise you might fall, never mind the flats. Hold on a moment I think you meant the stick.

Unknown Report 17 Sep 2005 00:24

From the Stick we will (eventually) be able to get a great view of two blocks of Flats I helped build in the 1960s at Gosport Ferry. I can also see it from my Kitchen window if I stick my head out and look due West. And, when it eventually falls over, we will have the footbridge from Gosport to Portsea which we should have had if the Builders had the Plans the right way round. Lol

Sorry to butt in here. I thought 'Grampa's Concrete Tower' was really nice, saw it for the first time 3 weeks ago when visiting a rellie from this site for the first time. We sat opposite it, in Gosport watching the ships come in and eating chicken & chips.

Lisa, Don't be negative. I am looking forward to meeting you all. Steedie, Train from Victoria to Portsmouth Harbour, not Portsmouth & Southsea. There is a large outdoor seating area near the foot of the Portsmouth Stick (Millenium Tower), just opposite the little Dock. I will have Mini GB with me by way of identification. 1.00pm until hell freezes over. See you all later.
