Well, I thought Marion sounded awful, tarting about with every bloke in sight! Robin was well rid of her. After all, he was only in the nick for stealing to give to the poor. Politicians get good money for doing that these days, so it can't be a bad way to go on. Little John was a little creep. Supposed to be Robin's friend, then snaffles his bird when he gets the needle with her for two-timing him with his arch-enemy. I mean, what's a guy to do? There he is, being all magnanimous to the disadvantaged, and he gets banged up for it! Then he gets out and finds his true love has been anything but with his worst enemy. Poor bloke was probably crying into his mead all night long, and then ... AND THEN his his best mate decides to nick his bird off him and make off with her! As for that Sheriff, he was just plain evil. Always was. I could tell that from watching The Adventures of Robin Hood (starring Richard Greene) on the old black&white telly we had when I was a kid in the 1950s. I wonder what happened to Friar Tuck and Alan A'Dale? Would Marion have notched them up on her bedpost as well? Festive Flutterby >*|*<

Sorry I DID miss off the last 2 answers folks! Had probs with my copy and pastings cos the answers went on for miles! Will make sure that the next quiz I post is shorter! Anyway, thanks so much to everyone who contributed to this thread! Made Very Interesting Reading, it did! Thanks Again! Kim XX **************************** Missing Answers!! The Sheriff, Robin Hood, Little John, Maid Marion Although you make a brave show of being self-sufficient, beneath this you are unhappy and rather mixed up. Men: You don't understand women - probably you are afraid of them. You do not know what love is, and you are more likely to boast about your conquests in a bar than prove them in a bedroom. Women: If men attract you at all, they probably are the wrong sort. This combination represents 2% of total, 3% of men and 2% of women The Sheriff, Robin Hood, Maid Marion, Little John Men: We find it hard to imagine you leading a full, happy life. The warmth and give-and-take of love are not for you. Your sex life is ringed with unreality, and you neither understand nor appreciate women. Women: If you really believe this is the right order, you baffle us completely. This combination represents 3% of total, 3% of men and 2% of women

I'd go for the second one.....I think! Little John~ for recognising and understanding the sacrifice Marion made on behalf of her love. And he played it smart.....he got the girl.!!! Marion~for doing what she had to in order to save her love from certain death. It's not like there was any money involved....was there? Sheriff~Not a nice person, but after lusting after Marion for so long, saw his chance and went for it. Like any true politician he took a gamble and it paid off for him. Robin~ last, because he sees the situation as black and white. Things aren't always as they seem on the surface. He should be more open, not so closed and uncompromising in his views. Marion may have rolled over for the sheriff, but it doesn't mean she enjoyed the experience. Robin should be grateful his love was willing to make such a sacrifice to save his arse. Rebs x

Lets see. Marion, Little John, The Sheriff, and the worst of all Robin. Marion.........She did what she had to do to save all there necks. Probably didnt enjoy it anyway ( with the Sheriff ) and most likely kept her eyes closed, and was imagining it was Robin. :>)) Little John......Well seeing Robin had dumped her, took his chance, and most likely always had the hots for Marion anyway. The Sheriff.....Well he's just a cad, and saw a perfect oppotunity to break up a relationship between Marion and his arch enemy, knowing in full that Robin would drop her like a hot poker. Robin........Robin me old mate. A typical male.....never looked at another woman and had evil thoughts. O'h yea'h.......pull the other one......same old story...( Umm....sorry I'm home late Marion i got caught up with Arrow practice at the range. )...In other words......... I sleep with who i like.....and you only sleep with me....lol Tony Oz :>))

Maid Marion did what she thought she had to do to save the man she loved. Sadly, he was unworthy of her love and turned out to be a slimeball. She suddenly saw in Little John in a different light, he understood the nature of her sacrifice and still loved her, perhaps loved her more because of her selfless act. The Sheriff was only doing what men in his position have done down the centuries but that doesn't make him any less of a creep. Robin was understandably upset - but to call Marion a slut after what she had done for him ......................... I still can't really work out who is worst Robin or the Sheriff but I'm coming more and more round to the idea that it was Robin because of what he said. I hope he falls out of his tree. Gwynne
