Dunno Donna?? I think its just the UK cos it relies on the electoral roll!! It was curiosity that made me type a members details in, and now i have their full home address!! Oh and her hubbys name, but i knew that already! cos she willingly mentions him!! Its just to warn you guys not to give personal info out cos it can be tracked and verified!! Karen |

Hi Karen I have said it so many times on here & so often people get carried away on threads. I have seen people write the area they live, their date of Birth & their families & their mothers maiden name, almost could steal their i.d. just reading a few threads. And remember people can gain this knowledge free gratis and for nothing as you do not have to pay to read the boards. Glad you have put this warning up as there seems never enough times you can make people aware of the dangers. Pat x |

I have used this site often to gain addresses of various people but it is actually very out of date - for example my son is still at his old address when he has been away from there for 4 yrs. Sometimes from that site I have been able to find telephone numbers too. |

Surely on sites like B4u, you have no control. I looked up a missing cousin and found her living with her Mother. Free search and full address. .The only restriction for the search is to know in which County they live. As all of this information is on Electoral Rolls there is nothing one can do about it. You can even go along to your Council offices , ask to see your own details re Council Tax and just look down the list to see what your neighbours are Paying. Now that Was a shock when we went to Query ours!! Jay |
