Shirley As one door closes another one opens. Seek advice from you local CAB.on how to deal with this situation. Can one of your children whose at home (or both) get a job and help pool the cash for the deposit ? You have four months to raise the cash between you., it can be done if you pull in your belts. Good luck, I hope you have a happy outcome Elaine x |

A while ago my son had terrible head injurys do to being attacked in the street, he had a thriving business at the time, but with out my son to run it, it got into finacial trouble, my husband and i decided to take out a very large loan to keep the business going and his employees in work, so he had something to go back to when he recovered. Unfortunately he took well over a year to get anywhere near to that and was not able to work for sometime, therefor he went bankrupt, we never burdened him with the fact we had taken out this loan, but we were in a mess, so the only alternative was for us to sell our home and pay off the morgage and that loan, which we did, left us with very little change. the buyer of our home agreed to rent us the house for a year, which is up in April 06. the council , who i have worked for for over 13 yrs won't house me as i do not have enough points as my children still at home are 21 and 22. So if i don't come up with £1500 pound deposit for private rent and find suitable private rent by April, i too could become Homeless. So you see it can happen to anyone of us. Shirley Ann. |
