''nudging'' for my friend Small but Perfectly Formed Snowflake. :-) Update: My knees are now not as swollen and I can walk with less difficulty, but the right one is still grazed and hurts, and going up and downstairs is still tricky. I can drive just a few miles then the left knee hurts. The grazes on my face have nearly gone - just on my nose and my right eyebrow now. And it's awkward looking out of my right eye. My front tooth is still awkward but not as bad..... and still here so far. I have a new spare pair of glasses and should have the new replacement glasses next week.

I am reading again all the kind thoughts and hugs - all really appreciated. Sue - having done more today ie driven and walked more, am feeling quite tired and the hurts are hurting more, so when I have finished my drink I shall be going to bed soon I think. Thank you. Still can't eat very easily because of the teeth being awkward. Tomorrow is another day. :-) Joy

Thank you, everyone. I wonder if you know, (well, you don't unless I tell you! so I shall), just how much all your messages have helped and are helping me. I managed to drive today, just a few minutes, to the supermarket. It wasn't crowded there which helped, and I limped my way round with a trolley. I felt quite a sense of achievement having done that. Day by day I am improving (or rather my cuts and bruises are!). :-) Joy

Joy I feel that you are in need of big hugs. As many on this Board do know................ I am not that sort of Guy. But in your case I will make an exception. I do not know how to portray hugs on my keyboard, so let me just say that my arm is now firmly around your shoulder and whatever tenderness I possess, is directed towards your pains. Get well soon My Friend K
