Hi All, visitors just gone and I managed a creditable tea. Even made Lemon Delicious for dessert :) Thanks for all the help re packing *grin* I did manage to do a load of washing so have slacks to add to the pile. Hello happy Wattlers We've had a lovely day with Graeme's brother & SIL so I've not spent any time on my new toy. Healing thoughts to the one's with diabetes, glandular fever and any other sickies. Vonny...did you finish your packing? The best way to travel would be with no luggage at all...just buy what you need when you get there. Bugger about the soccer. We stayed up and watched most of the game but started to get too sleepy to watch the end. Didn't the boys play well? It was not lack of skill or teamwork that got them in the end. Oh well...watch them in 4 years time. Laurie...I have an old family friend who has lived in Condoblin for years. Before she was married she worked at the Lake Cargelligo hospital. While we were having dinner tonight I got phone call from a man I'd had as a hot match on GR. Over a month ago I had tracked him down to a cousin of his who has finally passed on my message. I got so excited I started talking jibberish. I calmed down enough to find out that he has some old photos, death certs and news paper articles all relating to the Lethbridge side of Graeme's tree. He's being doing his tree for 16 years so he understood my excitement. Isn't it fantastic when a brick falls out of a wall? We are going to have a (sort of) early night tonight so I'll bid you all a good night and good dreams. 'Byeee love Trifley X

Morning all Hello Faye, long time no see - many months in fact. Computer sooo slow this morning - maybe its feeling the effects of the cold weather! But I have to say that a friend in the UK sent me some pics totalling 13634kbs. A no no in my language. Just as well I have adsl, because for anyone with dial up - it would take oooooooh I hate to think - over half an hour to download. good morning everyone, i'm over the grumps, actually i was soo super busy yesterday all i wanted to do was sit in the computer. thinks its a fabulous day ahead. isn't it great the shortest day is past. i know its stupid but i'm benefiting from extra daylight hours already. suzy - have you tried water walking. easy as, get in that heated swimming pool and walk up and down. get on top of that nasty diabetes. its good in that you can talk constantly while you do it and your back won't hurt. hope you all have the best of days today love from yvette

Morning all beautiful day in Mackay still in shorts & t-shirts. Does anyone else have problems with dial up we are going crazy with ours we have had 65 drop outs in 12 days & as we can't get broadband here as we are 55kms from town we have to put up with it. Morning All Well we are back to a frosty start to the days, but it is sunny, not a cloud in the sky. Have to do some of that H*****K today, once I find the Vac lol, then sort out girls room as we have 3 people from Adelaide staying here the weekend after this so I had better try and get some organisation into the girls room as they will be sleeping in there while the girls are at their Dads. Trifley I must admit I had to get a bit of help from DD as to how to get the ? upside down, I dont run XP and I havent got any of these character maps you all talk about, not sure about the ears/horns lol get it devil ..... horns !!!! Good morning Wattlers, Just finished the ironing, Neville is out, so I thought I would grab 10 mins to catch up. I must say it must have been a quiet night on here, only 2 pages. I know I sound like a walking medical disaster zone, but I also had trouble with my thyroid. In my case it was overactive and I have nodules on it. I went and had radioactive treatment and so ar so good. I am due for all my blood tests next month and i am hoping that it it still normal. I never really had much wrong until menopause, but the diabetes and high blood pressure are genetic. My mum was the same. Yes Yvette, I know about the walking in water, but as I live in a rural area, we only have outdoor pools which are closed at the moment. Both Neville and I talked about going so we will look into it when the weather gets warmer. Lew, shouldn't the office be giving you the party, not you them? Mary, have you sold yet? Devily, love your bling, very oringinal. My chooks haven't been giving me many eggs recently, but this morning one of them wanted to get out really bad, so when I opened the gate I followed her. She went straight to the fence, through it and into some long grass. When she came out and went to look and sure enough there were 3 eggs. I will now have to go searching around the garden looking for eggs. They are staying locked in their pen today. It as quite big, about quarter acre. Hi Cilla, we have only just got broadband, we had to have 80 people show an interest before we could have it. I think there is a program about it tonight, maybe ACA on nine. . . . . Sneaks in, very quitely, dont want to make any noise - everyone is being so quiet this morning! Good morning all - still a little of the morning left! Glorious sunny day here at Botany Bay, have enjoyed sitting in the sunshine getting some jobs done. The Port is very busy, only two giraffes sunning themselves, the others hard at work. A bit of colour in the ships this morning, one container ship that is blue & red, and a gas tanker that is dark green - makes a change from the dull greys and blacks! How is the clean up going Lew, want to come do mine when your finished - nah dont bother - I'm not bovvver'd at all !! I sometimes wonder when I had the transplant . . . the one where the worry wart was taken away and a more relaxed person emerged. I'm glad I dont rush around cleaning just for the sake of it anymore, I just do what has to be done, and our world hasn't caved in yet! Hi Faye, welcome to the nuthouse !!! We had such a lovely time there, after we had seen all the touristy things in the Centre of the city, we would just hop on the train and go out to the subs - great times! lucky chooks with lap dogs- oops laptops. i don't think i would get much done. my darling has just given me a cd full of e books. so much to read, i could drag it about with me. i had a terrible time getting broadband even in a suburban area. i'm an optus girl and telstra wouldn't change my line. 2 years it took. then one day they were under the impression that i wanted to change all my services over to them - hey presto, they changed my line. it was awefull ringing them to say 'i had only enquired, and my husband told me that I can't have it' my optus broadband has been lovely ever since. i've got to go and immerse myself in a new indoor pool . Not keen on getting wet today but its warm and once i get there i know i will enjoy. hope this sun stays out, love yvette PS i don't believe in the death penalty but total castrations, including catheterisation (you get the idea) is definitely the go. could add hand removal to go along with it. i'm serious aboput this. we had a nasty thing happen, not quite as sick, but sick all the same. i don't want to get started here.
