Sounds like a good idea Lew - I had a late afternoon nap - dead to the world I was, for half an hour (that makes up for some of the sleep I didn't have last night) - but you're right, a nice hot shower will do wonders. goes off *singing in the rain, Im just sinnnnnging in the rain* Oooops ..... shower! Hi yellow fluffy things, Wilson and Joods sending lots of healing thoughts your way, Rain had GF as a teenager, I think they called it the kissing desease (sp) when they get it at that age she got over it quite quickly but it's different when your an adult, not very nice at all. My mum was diabetic she was diagnosed with it when she was going through menapause so I have a bit of an understanding of the wretched condition, my georgeous mum, only died last year, at the age of ninety, what a character! oh dear just reread, sorry Wilson I didn't mean your D has been going around kissing lots of adults, please forgive if it sounds like that, Jill trying to type while getting both feet out of mouth. will creep back in later. Quick message agian, I am very late today, the chickens are coming in to the house looking for their food. Thanks for all the help with the cookies. I have finaly got rid of them. I have also cleaned up and defragmented. That took all morning and then we went grocery shopping after lunch. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 7 years ago and control it best with the low GI diet. I was doing very well until I hurt my back, then I had to stop the daily 5k walk, piled on 10kg plus and now I need to take medication. I am just getting back into the walking so I hope when I start to lose some weight I can reduce the meds. Really must go, catch up tomorrow Luv SuzyQ

Hi Jude - yes, hot soup I'm having, went out to lunch today, so dont feel like a full meal. I noticed Lew had been quiet - maybe its those last 5 files that have been keeping her busy, after all - ITS ONLY 3 MORE SLEEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suzy, laughing at the chickens walking into the house!!! Seems we have quite a few diabetics among us, or else someone in the family with it. .. Touch wood, I have escaped it and blood pressure also. Jood

Hi Joods, just tippy toeing in, diabetis and hp runs amok through my family so far so good with me but get tested every year, my thyroid decided to misbehaive( b--g-r) Ive decided to give up on the spelling) I just write from the heart, no dictionary in there, where was I ? ah yes Thyroid, was feeling, not tired exacty but I suppose I just lacked motivation, went to Dr. for normal diabetic etc. tests and found out thyroid not working properly, there are a lot of people out there with the same condition and don't know it, so have your thyroid tested next time! words of wisdom from Dr Jill. oh no not another Dr in the house.Jillx

Hi Joods, mine's underactive so take tabbies for it and yes did stack on the weight, thought when the tabbies kicked in it would all drop off like magic, nah! didn't happen, keep meaning to do more exercise but seem more drawn to the puta, I have really nice slim fingers though! lol Jillx

Hi everyone :-) Wilson healing thoughts to your daughter, hope she gets better soon. Jood my mum was recently diagnosed with diabetes, bhe's controlling it through diet. Vonny the presentation went well ie I didn't faint when I stood at the front lol. They seemed interested, at least they didn't fall asleep lol and they asked questions. Hi all, Just racing thru as I should be washing my hair and getting tea organised. Working Mon-Friday for next 2 weeks - now I know why I didn't want to work full-time - just not organised enough (((Hugs))) for those not feeling well - know what it's like with GF as son had it early this year - thankfully didn't last long. He never stays sick for long anyway. Hi to Tony & Barb - sounds like you're having a great time - glad your undies caught up with you - at least you packed them - I went on hols once with only the pair I was wearing - lol Vonny - hope you're better organised - at least you have a spare room to set things out in. Shazz - I get up at the crack of dawn at weekends cos that's when I work - mind you I get up around that time most days - and I still don't get half the things done that I want - blame the puta for that tho. Have had a very busy day fielding all the calls from clients saying that we can't leave 'cause no one else does their work as good as we do. I can understand all your clients being upset Lew - and what WILL they do!!! .. One would be used to the same people that they trust with their business and affairs. Its like my lovely gastro specialist - a Professor, they call him Prof. ... Just before I went into hospital, I heard he'd had collapsed, and had a brain tumour. I've heard no more since, but the chest specialist (who knew him) - said he would not be working any more. .. Sad. .... The chest specialist did recommend someone for me, when I asked him. .. I did ring the Prof's secretary up and express my sympathy - it must have been terrible for her. Anywayyyyyyyyyy - hope you dont really get sick tomorrow Lew, and jinx yourself! .. I find that having a day home to do the h********k doesnt always work, I can mess around allll day and not do a thing! Cheerio Jood

Evening All. Just peeking in quickly. Had a quiet day looking through online cemetries and a other bits and pieces. It didnt know if it wanted to rain or be fine today, it kept changing all day. SuzyQ glad you got your cookies all sorted out, puta will run a bit better now hopefully. Jood becareful you dont have a relapse, have to be well for Casino meet in August.
