Trifley, we dont usually talk about shooting as so many people are anti gun. Roy, at one time in the 90s was Aust 3gun champion(rifle,pistol&shotgun) and is still one of the top shooters. The style of comp is 'practical shooting ' originally started to train the police and security officers. Its not the boring olympic stuff, they do house clearing, and pop up targets ,moving targets etc...good to watch. All done outside. He sticks to the pistol now as he has handed in the rifles. With the new laws he didnt have the time to do the no of comps required to continue with all three types |

~~~~~~~~to Princess DIY. Is Cleo a cat? You are welcome to my share of the rain.....I've had enough. If it would only fall in the dams everything would be ok. Then perhaps Campbell Newman (Mayor of Brisvegas) would stop whinging. I'm off to pay some bills....catch you all later. TX |
Hi Trifley cleo is an abysinnian (russet) 11 yrs old next month and we adore her, once her bones are warmed to her satisfaction she still runs up and down the stairs, plays hide and seek and scatters rugs everywhere as she slides on the polished boards. She speaks to us, and also uses sign language (with her tail - lol) Glad you are feeling better Jood. |
I've met Rob and I can tell you he is NOT an ugly one! Men seem to look better with a few years on them anyway. Can't see what the interest is for the likes of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. TX |
G'Afternoon everyone, Had busy morning dragging OH around Bunnings with big list of items - new window squeegies, rubbish bins, cork boards, turps and metho etc. You did very well at Myer Anna, I cased out the Miss Shop here last Saturday then on Sunday afternoon got DD14 in a weak moment (she HATES shopping) to zip through and got her some warm things for NZ next week, honestly she is in tiny T's under a jacket all the time, I insisted on a couple of longsleeved tops. Anyway she was very happy and a couple of things I steered her towards she even liked LOL ! This time last year I got my 'funeral suit ' from Fletcher Jones on sale, it sounds morbid but I realised that if I had to go to a funeral, I didn't have anything decent to wear, so I lashed out on a navy three piece. I can dress it up for functions too. So this year I've decided I want some pants for work, I inherited a pair of grey FJ's from Mum and they are beautiful to wear, so this year I'll try for black and look at skirts too. I'm a bit like you Jood, wear things till they fall apart. Hope you get a fancy new parka! Mary, good luck with new person coming to see the house, just think, competition for the nitpicker! Lara will have hit the road this morning all going well, its very bright and sunny here and perhaps not so cold today, not a raindrop in sight. Lew I agree with Shazz - what goes around comes around, and hubby's first wife will meet her match one day! How sad for daughter. Shazz I got rid of my seven pages of hot matches quite quickly by ticking the don't show me these again box on the right side of the page. Then I removed the 'Smith' that was causing the matches from my tree, I figure anyone really matching my tree should have more than one name in common, and should show up again next time they run hot matches. I have had two very good connects with them though. OK, time to collect diddums from school, tonight we trial pack the bags for NZ. Do hope everyone ailing is on the mend, including pets Hz in Albury |
