Morning All. Had a great nights sleep. Just hope the b***h from hell didn't! But somehow I bet she slept like a baby. Laurie, you're right. Some women don't deserve to have children and she is definitely one of them. Anyway, Terry and I will do the right thing and warn the poor girl. Yes, perhaps it was for the best that she was adopted. She says she's had a great life, so that some consolation. Now only 9 sleeps to go. We're in the final stretch. Hoorrraaayyyyy! Laurie, I'll drop Joanie's photo in to Col today. It's come up a treat. Morning from me too :) yes, is almost summer here pmsl ~~~~~~~~ to Lew. Her loss is your gain. And nice for Terry's boys to at least know of a half sister, if she is into family stuff it was bound to come out eventually. One of the unexpected things to come out of John's Mum's death and subsequent family upheaval, is the discovery of the existence of a neice who is only a few years younger than him! No idea where she is of course and the rest of the extended family have NO idea she even exists. So if she gets into family history , that is going to be a big shock to the rest of the family. So, I guess that sort of thing is not uncommon. Hugs to all sicky animals and hope they begin to recover now they have cost their owners a fortune!! (been there too :) Minding grand-D today so will go and have brekky and get ready - got to do a load of washing now the sun looks like it is here. ~~~~~~~~Vonny

Morning all . . . Lew so glad you had a good nights sleep - was a bit worried your brain would be going at 90miles an hour !! That chardy medicine works well though doesn't it !! Thanks again for the photo job. Big panic here this morning - The lovely Ray got out the passports and discovered mine runs out in December . . as you need a passport valid for at least 6 months to travel anywhere . . . I need a new one fast !!! Guess where I will be today ??? Tony & Barb will have had their first full day out on the tourist trail in Scotland, hope the weather is kind to them - though I'm sure they will make the most of whatever comes their way. Change of travel plans for us - Ray has to be in Perth on 30th August, so has put off going there on our way to Jakarta next trip - might see if my sister Vicki can come down from Exmouth while I am over there (though she is probably reading this anyway ~~~~~~~ XOXO to Vicki) ! We have had a fair bit of rain overnight, and the morning is grey and overcast. & giraffes have their heads up in the clouds, and not much fishing going on out there either. The noise has started already, I will be so glad when the people downstairs have finished their reno job . . . heard last night that they are going to be lifting up all the tiles in the place (more jackhammers ) !!!! Morning all. Raining today but hope it is better tomorrow for the trip to Canberra..Hate driving in the rain.. Agent just rang and another person wants to see the house at 12noon so its get the house tidy again and get out ..OH how I hate this process..perhaps if I brought the house down to 50censt it will sell fast..LOL Will go down to the Mall and buy myself a new parker as the last one only lasted me 20 years and then the zip went on me,, nothing lasts these days days..LOL.. John just sung out that the water in the shower is cold and that there was no hot water. Went in and found he had turned on the cold tap.....say no more.....It is going to be one of those days I can see it...I should go back to bed and start again.. Lara Have a safe trip.. Morning all, just caught up with yesterdays messages, I agree about that awlful woman, how can anyone deny their own child, it's beyond belief. warm wishes to all the sick and recovering animals, our animals are so much part of our life they have become our children almost. Our little Italian Greyhound, Bazil, named after the Italian herb, had to have eight of his teeth removed but he's fine he has no problems with eating. Maddy was a dumped puppy we took in she's possibly a Lab/Bullie, we discovered she was deaf but you wouldn't know if you met her for the first time, she watches the other dogs they are her ears, sorry I'm rambling on about my animals. other news is that my hard drive may have died so my lovely puta man has taken it away to sort it out so I will try and keep in touch by using Ron's puta. Does anyone know what may be the matter with Rebs? is she still not well or is there another problem?. love to all Jillx

Moooorning all - Mary - (((((((((((hugs))))))))))). Shall keep my fingers crossed for you. I really feel for you - such an awful time. You feel like a goldfish in a bowl with everyone peering at you. You have to laugh about John and the cold water or you would cry! Blessed parka - you just wear them in so that they're comfortable and the ruddy things chuck a wobbly and lose their zipper! Dixie delivered to the vet - we await developments. Thinking of Lara and Tony on the road so to speak. Hope all is going beautifully for you guys. Laurie - I went to Myers the other day and a beautiful black jacket and white blouse which I had coveted for some time was reduced by one third! Of course, it was too good a bargain to pass by! I am hoping next year to become 'A Friend of the Empire' - the Empire being our local performing arts theatre. You can volunteer to be an usher and then you get to see the production! And, as an usher, you have to wear black and white - thus my purchase of the black jacket etc. Things to do, people to see, places to go - better get moving. Hi all, Luverly to hear from you all, what you are up to. .. Jill, I loved hearing about your animals, please feel free to tell us more about them. .. I was intrigued to hear about little Maddy - how cute. To all the other little animals, I hope they are all getting well, including Billie. Poor Shazz, sooooo lonely !!!! (so I ring her up - and guess what - she's on the net, you can't get through!) Ive yet to get to Myers sale. .. Our nearest shop is down the mountain, and I don't go down there for one thing. .. Friday I'm off to the chest specialist, so will have a peek then in Myers. .. I have got some wonderful bargains in the past in the clothing section. .. *reminds herself, she really doesnt need any more clothes, not even a parka* lol (but does that stop a girl? .. noooooooooo) You can take me off the sick list guys. .. I can't pretend any longer! .. hahaha - I still get a wee bit tired if I overdo things, but am getting a few jobs done now. .. Two weeks ago I wondered if I would ever get some energy back.
