Hi all Lara - sorry to hear about your friend. Remember only the GOOD die young. Hugs to you. Tony, have a safe trip and we'll all be waiting for the pickles. Jood, try rinsing you mouth out with salt water - should help. Mary, how did the open house go today? Hope everyone is watering the 'Coleus Canina' . Laurie, did you see any whales. Went whale watching a couple of years ago off Moreton Island - what an amazing experience. They are the most beautiful animals. Go 'Lions' Luv Pam

Hi everyone,, Open house went well.. 10 couples.. but one little picky man.. Everytime he comes he has a pick at something. He has been abour 3 times now..Last time he complained he couldnt open a window, therefor it must be broken,, STUPID MAN the dam thing was locked and he only had to ask and it could have been opened.. I opened it today in case he came again.. Sure enough he came again and complained that some cross beam must have been broken and repaired.. The bloody thing is made of thick steel and was there from the day we moved in and hasent moved an inch...he is sending a man to have a look at it..cant believe what some peeps go on about...We have the plans of the house on the table and you can see it there in black and white..I have half a mind to tell him to P>O>...He.He. He.. well I would if I didnt want to sell the bloody thing ... While the house was open we went to the Collaroy RSL CLub.and had a nice light lunch and played the pokies for a few minutes, and came home $50 odd better off. Glad something is going our way..Lovely Club right on the beach.. You can sit and watch the people on the beach or in the surf right in front of you.. Lara Sorry about the sad news, Hope the family is copeing..How is the van filling going.. I cant believe what one can get into a van as when we sold ours it was amazing what I had to get out of it, and then find a place for it somewhere.I now have a draw full of cutlery and and cupboards full of crockery which I dont really need.. Must give some to the son as he is going to take the kids camping and we have managed to give him the tent, fridge, portaloo, and lots of odds and ends ...would love to go camping again but John couldnt manage it now..Looks like its Motel for us or maybe cabins in Parks, which are very nice now... Hi to everyone,,, Thanks for having fingers crossed for me,, may need them again next week..Will be in Camberra next weekend so they can have the house to themselves.. Love you all Maryxxxx

Mary sounds to me like he's going to try and get you to sell at a reduced price if he does put in an offer, especially as he keeps coming back. Keeping my fingers crossed :-)

Of course a royal~~~~~~ wave to Mary. $50 on the pokies....maybe that's a good sign for the Lotto tonight. You should buy yourself a bottle of champers to celebrate when you sell the house. Don't worry about the complaining little man. He is probably using it as a ploy to drop the price. If he stuffs you around too much just tell him to get nicked......lol Don't forget your winter woolies when you go to Canberra. Trifley X

Thanks Cat. Mary - what an idiot that man must have been. .. Typical male (sorry Tony, but he can't hear me now) - probably thinks he knows everything. .. But its looking good that you are getting so many people looking through the house. .. Im sure it will be sold soon. Trifley & Cat - what you said is true - he is probably looking for 'faults' in order to drop the price. Mary, as Trifley said - tell him to get nicked. .. Stand your ground, he'll come back if hes genuine. Jood

Good afternoon/evening Wattlers, We have had a wonderful day - when your looking out to sea, trying to spot the whale, you just can't hang onto any stress or think about work worries - so that was my therapy for Ray today - even managed to get his phone and turn it of (teehee) We go down onto the cliffs in the Botany Bay Nature reserve, which is tucked out on the North head into Botany Bay behind the NSW Golf Club. Took the chairs, rugs, picnic basket, thermos, binoculars and set up camp for 4 hours. They are averaging about 40 sightings a day at the moment, but it was a bit hard to work out how many we really saw today, the sea was very rough and you couldn't see how many were travelling together. What looked like it was 4 could have been two. We saw heaps of them, not too far off the shore, either. They dont play as much on their way north as they do coming south with the babies, I guess they are preggers after all! So sorry to hear the sad news of Viviene, Lara hon, big (((hug)) - she must have been needed elsewhere! Sounds like she has left a big hole in the community. Glad your getting a good lot of peeps coming thru the house Mary, all looking good for a quick sale. Like the girls said - dont drop the price for 'Mr Picky' Jill ! Jill !!! JILL !!! Bunnings dont sell the good brand of painting accessories - they sell the cheap chinese stuff !!!! I made a big mess of buying Lotto this morning . . . I have tried 4 different newsagents over the last couple of days to buy Lotto for next week so Tony could get the numbers out to everyone before he left!!! They wouldn't sell them to me . . . said they dont sell ahead unless you buy a multiple entry! In the end I brought a multiple entry - so we have extra games for tonight as well! OK, I'm buying a multiple entry, and he tells me if you buy 30 lines, you get a bonus 12 lines . . . good says I that will fill the requirements !!! Wrong again . . . I didn't notice till I got home this evening/afternoon that the bonus 12 lines is only for tonight! So we have an extra 42 lines tonight and only 30 for next Sat night - If Tony has laready packed up the puter and I dont hear from him in the next couple of hours I will endeavour to get the extra numbers out to everyone for tonight OK. Ray is cooking pork chops on the Barbie, so best go get the table ready - will be back later cheers luv Laurie

Afternoon wattlers Well I nearly did it.......... burnt tea, I was reading the messages and getting carried away with the meet in Sydney in Aug and yes I only just saved the rissoles on the stove. David says we should ban Wattle club between 5.00 and 7.00 so we dont burn tea lol, mind you he was also in the room on the other puta pmsl. I was talking to a friend about coming to Sydney and the date I had available, she mentioned we could change the meeting on the 5th Aug if I could only get cheap tickets for that time, not to mention it would be a nice birthday pressie lol. Cheers Sue
