Blow it! Let's throw out a challenge.........GR versus the rest! If they're all under 7's at a themed party we might stand half a chance!! Losers buy a round of lemonades.....or alcopops if that's what little kids drink nowadays.

This is beginning to look like a bad episode of the Keystone Kops in plain clothes! We'll all be looking this way and that, hoping to recognise one and another from the 'conversations' we've been having on here!! Wouldn't be surprised if the Stevenage bill send a fleet of their vans round to arrest us all on suspicion of intent to rob. Some of us are bound to appear to be 'lookouts'. Could get Genes Reunited a very bad name! LOL Brian, ;< 0 ))

I will be outside Cineworld at 2.00pm waiting for Fi to arrive. We will meet everyone after that wherever the majority are congregating. Just let us know where please. Viv

Well I will be lurking at the Leisure centre, but if its going to be cold - which it probably is - I'd like to be indoors. I don't care whether its Cineworld or the bowling alley or an eaterie, as long as I won't be looking like Billy No Mates. So who is going to be where and when?!

Well.....looks like a few of us will be invading Stevenage on Saturday. Trouble is we'll be dotted all over the town by the looks of things! One of us at the Holywood Bowl at 2.00 p.m.; another at the Leisure Park at the same time, and someone else at Cineworld, also at 2.00 p.m.!! Others appear to be tucking in at various nosh bars and restaurants (too many to mention here); not to mention public houses. And poor old Yvette will be frozen stiff by the time she finds everyone (if she ever does, that is!) - she reckons to be in Stevenage at high noon. Trouble is we are leaderless.....there's been neither sight nor sound of Glamour Puss for a couple of weeks (or did I blink and miss a thread somewhere?). Brian, ;< O )) You won't miss me; I'll be the DOM winking at everyone (see my winking smiley above).

Why not meet at the Bowling Alley? They probably have a Bar in there and a cafe. 2.00 I will be there. Look for a bald headed old bloke with a white beard!

Yvette Report 18 Feb 2006 21:38

It will be a real shame if GP can't make it for whatever reason, but surely there are enough of us to still make for a mini meet if she is no longer able to arrange it? Does anyone planning to be there know the area well enough to suggest a pub we can meet in ...just in case??? GP where are you???? we need you :-))

Fi aka Wheelie Spice

Fi aka Wheelie Spice Report 18 Feb 2006 21:21

I know she was concerned cos people kept saying they may do one thing and not other. and when she asked for definites to book it, not many people replied. Maybe she decided it was not worth the effort to organise it. Shame really!!!!!!! Cos other meets get quite a good interest. Fi

Glamour Puss instigated this meet in early January, but she's not appeared on this thread; and I've just checked the 'Hertfordshire meet' thread and she last posted there on the 29th January, so I'm wondering where she is, and how far she got with arrangements for the restaurant and booking bowling lanes. Membership expired? Something one of us said? Emigrated, but couldn't bear to say 'goodbye' ? Where are ya, GP?? ;< 0 (
