Little Lost Report 12 Mar 2006 10:42

well I wont join you in a glass or two as I had enough last night!! Is this your first grand child? We have never had a big do for ours. My three were all baptised in our churches but had the do at home after. For my grandsons we hired a hall and my grand daughters we just went back to her house. Hope you can manage to sort out another suitable date.

Lemon It's always disappointing when the best laid plans are mucked up. Never mind, I bet the snow looks pretty. Be glad its not 150+ years ago and you don't have to go out and toil in the fields or whatever your ancestors did. Bung on 'Love Shack' and do some groovy bopping to cheer yourself up!!! nell

Thanks everyone for the messages, Gloria I have 4 Grandaughters who I adore , they are steps, this is the first Grandbaby from my two boys. Yes we will be able to have it in a few weeks as hotel has been reasonable, which is a big relief, and hopefully my Dad will get back up and my brothers. Hard to believe Dad has been here 3 weeks just for this and we had some lovely weather....still never mind worse things happen. Thanks for cheering me up everyone with the lovely messages. XXXXX

Hi Lems, I just got in from work to see this, I'm so sorry. If Amy does grow out of her gown before you can rearange just send me her size. I do a nice line in christening gowns, have some lovely silk & satin embroiderie. I was interested in your mention of brother flying up from Buckingham, my daughter lives in a village just outside there. I do hope you can arrange the day soon, you would have thought the weather would be ok in March wouldn't you. Have a hug from me Vivienne
