To me where you were born is your nationality. So I'm English, then British.

Tough one. Have dual nationality (Greek/British). Feel a natural affiliation with Greece but am of British/English blood.

I had this discussion with my Mum the other week and with it being St Patrick's Day we are discussing this at work. My Mum considers herself as English and not British. She as been born in England and for about 3 generations back on both sides she is English. In our household we consider ourselves as a British mix as my hubby's father is Scottish but his mother is English but he has Irish and Maltese ancestors as well. I call my son my little Scottish Malteser which he loves obviously any chocolate association works for him. What about you?
