My children were born i scotland, but call themselves british. most of my ancestor names are scottish or irish, although I have only just metaphorically speaking stepped a toe into the borders. Born in England, brought up in Australia from the age of 3. I guess I'm Australian but my parents are English and going back many generations we are English. I visited England for the first time in 2000 and I strongly felt my English roots especially in Leeds where I was born. Susan |

Most definitely English !!! Every single name in my tree, on both parents sides. I was very surprised !! 2 had Welsh names, but I only found them born in England so I still can't claim any proper Welsh in me!!! :0) Joan |

I consider myself English. I was born and raised in England. My Father was scottish as was his father. My grandad considered himself Scottish as he was born and raised there even though his father was Irish. |

English as I can trace my line back for at least 150 years in the UK. But from my surname may be Norman-French? So maybe French pre-1066 ! Lol |
