Just wish I could break down the wall No one can find anything at all. Keep looking on the internet For all the info I can get. Lots of times I have put out an appeal You wouldn't think it could be such a big deal. Many GR members have answered my call But no one has got back any further at all. Now I have looked at births and census lists and parish records,. What have I missed? Oh dear I even paid for some research to be done But that didn't reveal this elusive one! Perhaps I will put out one more appeal You never know what it could reveal!!

Ever so helpful people are I find with questions on rellies - so very kind For I am not so knowledgeable yet you know as some on here - so I am so slow Get so far and then find a wall and sometimes tempted to chuck it all! Have you tried, Chrispy, to ask and see if our friends on here can find William P? It's worth a try and you may solve your problem all in one go!

You have hit the nail on the head. Never a truer word has been said. Zap those sad thoughts away Try to keep those things at bay. Am all for burying my head in the sand There is too much to worry about in this land But I try to change things if they are not fair I wouldn't like you to think I didn't care Changing the subject, I saw your thread Dorothy You have had a lot of success, (not like me.) Did I see your success with a name ending with tt. I wish I could find my William P.

So Nolls has gone off to Sunny Malta Lucky her, wish I could join her To Malta I have been many times they certainly enjoy sunnier climes Unlike us, they have no winter cold no rain either, so I'm told Very sad it was to see the Service at Eleven am on the TV Wept a few tears at watching it all and those who lost loved ones but most of all the children of Soldiers today who thanks to politicians go into the fray Xtremely upset I was to see those same planners place a wreath with no sense of blame

Falling asleep I am so weary But had to call in to see you all so cheery. Great to read all your rhymes and help myself to your wines!!. Have to tell you I enjoyed the show. Wondered if I ought to go. It was quite sad, the underlying story With actresses dressed in former glory. Just going off for I need my sleep Though at 'familysearch' I will have a peep Keep trying to find my William P. Before 1851 where was he?

As the clock struck eleven she bowed her head remembering all those men who are dead Bugles sounded in the street outside and soldiers marched, side by side Couldn't let this day pass by guess a few folks had a cry Days go by, the years do to our memories sometimes make us blue Evening comes, the close of day and for our loved ones we must pray

Just teasing you all for I don't want to be famous- Because I prefer being me! Keep asking myself what would I do with fame. Life just would not be the same. Look at all the stars in the news No privacy, always airing their views. My life may not be perfect that's certainly right. But perhaps I'd like to be famous for just one night.!

For surely Chrispy and Dorothy a millionaire you'd be but you'd much rather be doing your family tree Go on admit it who wants the fame who wants to be a Pantomime Dame Here I will stay with Carol and all write beautiful poetry and we'll have a ball In case you might think jealous I be your blooming right I want it for me

Ah Chrispy - what a dream you see What might have been eh? You and me Bestowing a smile on our adoring fans gliding down the red carpet waving our hands Can we still do it, do you think? or are we tied forever to the kichen sink! Don't despair - it must be a difficult life always on show despite all the strife Even when you feel rotten - always to smile rather than stay in bed - or run a mile

Surely I have seen you on TV A famous film star Dorothy G. Talent so great, you are a star Fans coming to see you from near and far. Unbelievable that you haven't starred with David Suchet But I'm sure your chance will come one day. Verily your hair is envied by all Your crowning glory admired at the ball. When I am invited to co-star with you I will wear my fluffy white and pink tutu.

Jack-the-Lad Ron is back from his travels in Wales, perhaps he'll tell us of this with travellers tales Kind of you Ron to bring some Wine please pour some Red, that can be mine Lets all join in and drink our health and also some luck to add to our wealth My ambition when young was to be a 'Star' so you could all worshp me from afar! Not in the sky, you know, but Hollywood glamour to be like Rita Hayworth I did clamour Only my hair never grew so long and luxurious it would stop at my shoulders - I was furious! Perms I don't need, its curly and wavy the bane of my life and drives me crazy! Quite happy that I didn't find fame Sure you are too Chrispy - but perhaps Really you are like Margot Fonteyn and just kidding us about your name!
