Very sorry to have been AWOL Haven't watched TV much at all Well, Chrispy, what's to do about all those crowds - I'll tell you Xcept for the food and wine I'm doing most of mine on line! Z-ed - how I hate that letter I'll just move on, and make it better A big hello to Susan there, nice to see you - and welcome here Big task we've got, to try to amaze with one thousand postings in thirteen days! Christmas Day is looming - can we do it? I think it's doubtful what do you think?

Oh so lovely to read all your Christmas thoughts As we battle with shopping, wines, biscuits and ports. Presents are so hard to choose Rushing around, no time to lose. Quite agree with my friend Dorothy G. Busy shopping centres are no fun for me. Rushing, pushing, noisy crowds I hate I like a quiet walk with my dog and coffee with a mate So difficult to find things for teenage boys. They are too old for childhood toys. They like digital cameras, music too loud to bear X boxes, mobile phones and hoodies to wear Unless you know the latest craze You could wander the shops in a bemused daze

Nolls from Harrogate Report 12 Dec 2006 21:30

Don't believe it, Ron's gone off again to Wales, and Rain - and Not to Sunny Spain! Even so I am sure he'll enjoy hmself amongst those Welsh Valleys For there's Leeks and Daffodils and singing a-plenty Gosh, no, not finished Christmas shopping not much to get now and soon will be stopping Have one or two more items yet to get must admit have done a fair bit on the Internet! I hate crowded town centres and the traffic is dreadful, so it's easier that way and my blood-pressure stays stable! Just hoping that we might reach that magic one thousand - what do you think? Kris Krimble is looming fast so please keep rhyming until Christmas is past
