Dee the Bibliomaniac Report 20 Jan 2007 15:39

Unrest was common, or so they say hundreds of people sent on their way Very true, Dorothy, transportation was rife or else the executioner used his knife We might find ancestors in the antipodes and other pleading for mercy on their knees Xpect they thought they were doing their best by causing wide scale industrial unrest You and I have things easy these days but you see it has not been the case always Zillions of things could be said if I had time but I guess I should give others a chance to rhyme

Quite dangerous though Dee I feel to be a rebel then would your fate seal Rebels were punished very hard better I think to play a safe card Strung up otherwise I reckon, or transportation might beckon

Luddites we learnt about at college today (they were northern rebels, I hear say) Must admit I find these rebels quite exciting living at that time was quite nail biting Never knew what our ancestors got up to but good to find out I think, don't you? Oh Ron a limo would be my dream if only I could hatch a scheme Perhaps one day I will win some cash and take you all out, (or is that rather rash)

Unable to find a spare handsome man for Dee Are they in short supply or avoiding me? Violent winds swept our lanes on Thursday But it has been much better today. Weather permitting, I will clear some leaves tomorrow If it rains I will be filled with sorrow. Xpect I would read my new library book It appears quite good but I've only had a brief look. Yours truly (thats me!) I am going to bed Couldn't leave you all to tackle Z! Zealously visit this thread every day Even when I have nothing much to say!

Looking from my window at a lovely day The wind has dropped, skies no longer grey Maybe in a few days we’ll have some snow It’s better that than when the winds do blow Nearly the weekend, what will we all do? Hubby is working, so I’m feeling blue Out I would go, if I knew where to go But places are shut, (off-season you know) Please give me some handy tips, if you can (and maybe send me a handsome man)
