I don't know anything about anyone on here, so lets introduce ourselves. I am Teresa, I live in Norwich but class myself as an Essex girl, I'm 46, divorced, living with partner, we have 6 children and 6 grandchildren between us. I work in a call centre, just put in for promotion, still waiting to hear, and support West Ham Utd. T x

Teresa I've been a GR member for about 3 years. I didn't visit the General board for the first year or so as I was v. busy tracing my family tree, but I like to pop in for a chat/quiz now and then. I live in North Herts with husband and 2 sons, none of whom could care less about family history! We are all rugby fans and support Wasps - have just been to 7th consecutive cup final that they won at Twickenham. I work part time in a local primary school, mainly with special needs infants. Husband is currently unemployed, but chasing various job prospects so cross your fingers for him - he's hoping to hear good news tomorrow. Good luck with your promotion! Nell

Thanks Helen, and good luck to hubby with his job hunting. It's horrible being out of work, I had 6 minths of it a couple of years ago. My OH can no longer work and boredom is driving him nuts. T x

Forgot to mention - I have a gt gt grandfather from Chelmsford in Essex, and gt gt gt grandparents, gt gt grandparents and grandparent from Norfolk - one from Langham, in North Norfolk and the rest from the eastern broads - Limpenhoe, Halvergate, Cantley, Hardley etc. When I was 11 we went on a caravanning holiday and I had a birthday present camera, with which I took a picture of my gt grandparents' memorial in Limpenhoe churchyard. Little did I know it, but that planted the seeds of my interest in family history. nell

Hi Teresa, I'm Jean... live in Essex/London Separated ... I have 2 daughters and 3 grandsons. Now retired and spend most of my time looking for dead people, as my oldest grandson calls Family History. Hi Barbara. I have noticed cats are only laid back & idle when they know they are being watched. They lead double lives. There is a saying, cats dont have owners, they have staff. How true is THAT!!! T x

Jean, my OH calls it searching for dead people too. I say to him I would rather go looking for them than have them come looking for me. T x

When our cat wakes up I shall ask her! though she is waited on hand and foot!

Hi Theresa. I live not too far from you - Lowestoft. I have been on here for just one year and love it. Doing my family tree and most of my rellies are from Yorkshire, where I was born. I am an OAP (66 this year). Hubby is a retired carpenter & joiner. We have one married son and two lovely grandchildren. I used to be a nurse in Croydon, near London. Glad you spotted that Teresa..he will be on here Whimpering soon......All my family are from Norwich and one is going to the Norwich meet, I think, I lived in Chelmsford for a few years and did my nursing training there.Small world...

Teresa - not sure yet about the Norwich meet, but will try. Fancy you having a sheltie breeder in the family! You don't see many Shelties around here where we live. I'm afraid we may lose ours soon, she isn't well at all - now nearly 13 (dreading it). We have always had Shelties, she is our 4th one and the only female one we have had, she's gorgeous.
