Half of mum's side were all from Ongar area, grandfather born Buckhurst Hill. I went to school in Woodford, have worked in Woodford and lived in Buckhurst Hill. Mum still lives in South Woodford (1/4 mile from border!) and sis lives in Elm Park. Proud to be East End/Essex - yes I had white stillettos, have danced round my handbag and done plenty of 'essex girl' things lol lol Maz. XX |

I still have lots of family and friends up there, in poplar my mum's old friends have bars up there windows. Such a shame the East End was such a lovely friendly place to live at one time. But I wouldn't go back there to live now. Denise. |
