Paul ------ SHUT UP!!!!!!! LOL Denise, we got married June 16th, congratulations on yours. And how do you walk down the stairs in heel-less sandals without sounding like a wardrobe being dragged down step by step????? Trish (now going to work in jeans trainers and sweatshirt).

Guinevere Report 2 May 2006 12:12

Trish, Put the heel down before the toe. Gwynne (with much experience in the shoe/boot area)

Thanks Gwynne, did think of that but thought it would be pretty awkward - will try it when I get back from work.

Trish, You go down sort of sideways. One step down then next foot onto same step and so on. It's slow but stops the clatter. Gwynne

Paul Report 2 May 2006 13:56

Hopefully my camera will arrive tomorrow too. I couldn#t really afford it either Diana, but... well sometimes it just has to be done lol Your broken camera was obviously better than my broken camera. Pentax wanted a minimum of £115 to fix it, but that could rise, depending on what needed replacing. I can't remember how much it cost, but it was less than £200 !!!

Paul - mine was a present from ex-hubby which he bought duty free with his boss there so I so know he paid more than he would have done if he'd been alone!! :O) Never mind guess it was the same as my marriage..... worked fine for a while but had to be binned in the end!! LOL!!

Paul

Paul Report 2 May 2006 16:36
