Ann I am not sure where or what Akora is. There are 2 possibilities depending on spelling. Is it a town, N or S island? Linda, what was wrong with your answer? I dont mind if you say which island if that is what you mean. Ahipara is in the North Is. Oh yes I did say wait for 2 or 3 people to put in replies but it doesnt look as if many people are taking part so I will forget that bit.

Strictly speaking, Grampa, we are not the true antipodies of England. But near enough give or take a few hundred or thousand miles. THIS THREAD IS NOW OPEN FOR BUSINESS.

I know I said it wont be long but the UK one is only up to 24 Ys this morning. I keep adding 2 at a time. I think everybody has gone to the pub. And then they will be too hungover to add any anyway. Dont know whether to add all the other Ys from the roadmap book, which would leave only 4 Zs to add, or to say ok go ahead with this. Maybe I will add more now.

Well, Mags, I have to confess that I have senior moments. I managed to leave V out of the UK Villagers (sic) and towns list, was told off for it, so I quite enjoyed the chance to tell someone else off! Wont be long now, they are up to Y, then there are only a few Zs. Dont bother to delete. There are quite a few other As. And please leave the poor worms alone, they do a good job in the garden and lawn.

Ooops - sorry. Didn't know there was one. Will delete in a mo and go and eat worms. Hmmm - sure there was nothing about googling and having maps out when I read the opener - and presumably nothing about a UK thread either - definitely losing my marbles

Naughty Mags, you didnt read the rules carefully. I said wait until the UK thread was finished! Go to the Naughty corner.
