I found out on Thursday after a hospital appointment that I have a very rare disorder in my bone marrow. It does have a name which is miles long beginning with M. The worst bit is that there is no cure for it. It can be supressed for a while, but it is a life threatening condition. Yesterday was a bad day - lots of tears,but today I feel a bit more positive. Having a good nights sleep probably helped. I want to see our 2 grandaughters grow up, but the specialist seem to be indicating a span of 5 years before things go very wrong. What ever God you believe in,please think of me and the family. I need to be strong for them as well as me. A very confused Pauline. |
