Hi Pauline, so sorry to hear yours news, our best friend (then 59) was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a disorder of the bone marrow, and was told it was terminal. I tell you this to show you that the first diagnosis , although devastating and gives you a feeling of hopelessness, in my friends case it has not been as bad as expected. At the time he was told he had about 5 months left to live. With chemo and drugs he has lived with it for 6 years now, which is wonderful. Apart from feeling tired all the time he lives a normal life and no one would know that he has a terminal illness . Being positive has certainly helped our friend and his family. I do hope that you will have the same experience . You will be in my thoughts and prayers. regards Rosy

Sorry to hear your news. Medicine changes all the time - hope they find a better way of treating your condition. Last year I was diagnosed with a genetic skin cancer. Five years ago they were treating it will radiotherapy - they discovered this made the cancer multipy so are using other methods to treat it. It now has a normal life expectancy. Hope they find a way to slow down your condition. Penny
