Rosie. You have the headache of the teenage rebel. My son was only sixteen when his father died. There was the grieving and the teenage rebelion all rolled into one. You need to be there for your son no matter what he says to you, no matter how hurtful the remarks are and above all tell him that you love him above all other. You will be suprised how much will sink in. It may take some time but they do remember. My son is now 26yrs old and he remembers exactly what i had to say to him. Be there no matter what!! Vanessa

Thank you. i feel for Rosie. When you have been at the bottom of dispair and think no one understands then i think thank god for links like this! There are so many who are in the same boat so to speak and understand what it is she is going through. Rosie. The whole bloody world is a laugh!! The life we make is a laugh!! But, if, like me you want to look at the serious side of it then do it at a time that seems right. I have been driven to dispair on more than one event. I was left alone with three children to bring up in 1995 when my partner and then husband died. I was soooo!!! down that i could not beleive there was a tunnel at the end of it. It took me sometime before i realised that the tunnel was of my making! One step at a time. that is my motto! It was two years before i met my present hubby. I look back and can not beleive how down i was till then. Speak out and you will be heard!! There are plenty of ears on this thread and plenty of friends in the making. I am with you one hundred percent on how down you feel. I don't think Lemon shares Daniel with anyone or anything! lol I've a feeling the creatures may disappear when she weds. Lemon says I can be the wedding planner (must remember to tell Polly). Think I may suggest an armadillo shaped cake like the cake in Steel Magnolias lol ( I don't expect anyone to remember it)
