Now cool it. Points have been made, people have been barred or voluntarily left the site. can we think about other people who enjoy this site, who have nothing to do with any internal quarrels. I am speaking to everyone here. The ones who started the aggravation and the ones who continued it. taking it that we are all adults and all have some compassion, can we realise that there are people for whom this site is a life line, people who do not want to move to another site because they are comfortable here. Can we please think of them. If anything else happens and GR admin have more problems theyw ill happily shut it down again and they will not suffer, this is such a large concern that nothing anyone here can do will hurt the management, the only people to suffer are the ones who rely on the boards for daily contact with people. i am therefore sticking my neck out here to ask for your compassion and help not to antagonise each other or the management. Hear Hear Ann, i am so grateful to Genes for this site and as you said Its a Life line for some, i have introduced many of my customers that are disababled to this site, without it they would need support to interact and build there confidence up again to find an other hobby, at such an affordable rate. Ann - I totally agree. I am one of the ones for whom the boards are a lifeline but I don't want to become embroiled in slanging matches. I received an email today from GR giving a website address for GR message board users but can't access it. Has anyone else had one? J

Ann, Exactly what I feel.I don't know what it is all about,I have only recently started to read general topics,there is no need for all the bad mouthing that seems to have been going on.I have felt very annoyed that all posting had to be stopped,I resent having to pay for nothing.I do feel that GR.should monitor the post more diligently,perhaps they will now.The animosity should be forgotten. Sad though when people like one lady I know, who spent hours answering people with problems by Pm sometimes well in to the night when she should have been sleeping, laughed on the boards, and talked to anyone who talked to her, cried at others heart ache while hiding her own at times. Someone real who you could see on pictures, who offered hospitality in her own home to Genes members and still would, is dispensed of. One who never sent a bad Pm or left anyone unanswered if she could help it. Peace and the Gen Top board was her main concern always. I don't know the person you refer to but if someone has got caught up in all this drama by accident I am sure the Management would listen to a sensibly worded approach from those who knew and respected her. It can only be in everyones interests to restore someone of such great merit. Why not contact them? Baz

But I fear this is a lost cause now, as all she did was mention her name and add a few innocent threads this morning, and I am sure you know her as most people spoke to the lady at one time or another as she took time for anyone who needed her.
