I probably wouldn't bother at this stage Joy! I like the auditions cos it's full of nutters which makes for a good laugh. When it gets to the voting, it seems to go on presentation, looks and personality rather than singing ability. Hence the Unconventionals went out last night and not the McDonald Brothers. |

Anyway, back to the gist of this thread........ The acts that really stood out for me were Robert and Ben. I just hope the younger generation 'get' Ben's voice. My teenage daughter thinks he's lovely........Personally I'd like to give him a good scrub and a haircut, but I could listen to him all day! |

liz, you should be there instead of louis. dionne is capable of winning x factor. unconventional, with help could be the new version of the ' new seekers ' they had a lot more to offer, but had louis for their mentor. bryan. |

Thought MacDonald Bros would have gone tonight, wasn't that impressed with them but surprised that Dionne was so near leaving, I thought she was good. Unconventionals were ... well, unconventional and needed pulling together more. Not sure about Lionel Ritchie's new song, might need to grow on me, I do like his songs usually. Liz |
