Dear Em, I have PM'd you, but want to add that I will miss you greatly.....you were one of the friendly people who welcomed me when I joined the boards in September 2005.....your threads were always lighthearted and fun.... As a newbie I was made to feel welcome, and did not feel that people were cliquey, or made to feel unwelcome in any way... It was because of the odd behaviour of some members, especially those who decided to use multiple accounts to cause upset and disruption on the boards.....and to single out certain members for their particular brand of spite, that members started to disappear, and those of us who had posted previously decided it was a waste of time, if threads were going to be hi-jacked and turned into something sinister... From then on, all newbies, and those who had recently joined with only one member in their tree, and seemed to know what had been going on....were viewed with suspicion.....I feel sorry for everyone new who joined after that time,.. As Bob says, the board will go on,...and it is up to all of us if we go or stay.....but as one of the friendly people who first made me welcome......I am so sorry to see you go Em....

OH... Our Em, I am so sorry that you feel you have to say farewell. I don't post much but I knew if I saw your name the thread would be a fun thread. Not controversial, not in any way nasty but one that would always bring a smile, a giggle and many a time a falling about laughing time. In other words 'a good place to visit'. You will be very sorely missed...and I do hope you will reconsider. Love and best wishes. Beryl x

Em, you've always made these boards such fun with Grrr Street, your quizzes and the Panto :o) I think lots of people will be sad to see you go :o( I'm sure the boards will go back to normal, but for me the fun has gone and I won't be renewing on Sunday when my membership runs out.
