Good Morning Em I know how you feel. I used to enjoy your light hearted chit chat in the mornings. I stopped posting on them a while back not because of you but because of another incident on here where I was told to delete a posting by a long standing member and it got a bit heated so I stepped back for a while. Good luck to you in your research and for the future LLC

Aw, Em. Sometimes when I post on here I say that I have been lucky enough to make a few genuine friends, as well as a lot of boardmates, on GR and you are such a one. I am so sorry that you feel you can't stay but I do understand why. I will miss you loads on here but we will still be in touch. Gwynne

I've only just started adding to the threads again & now no more good mornings from Wales. It has to be your choice of course. Yes the boards have changed. I would'nt mind so much if it was because of natural progression. People will always leave etc. Always going to happen but alot of it has'nt been natural progression. That's the bit I don't like. I am devastated to hear you are going, yours is the only Good Morning thread I sometimes add to and as for GRrr Street...you have left me dangling on a bar stool, Baileys in hand, a dazed look in the eye. Our dear Em, I too will be sad to see you leave here. You have been a bright light in a gathering storm. Please know that your efforts to keep the place light-hearted have not gone unnoticed. I am so glad I took part in GR Street when it came back; I have been waiting to tell the cast about my exploits at Christmas in the Pink Parrot when I got carried away on the pole and got myself a nasty friction burn, drunkenly (bandy leggedly) staggered to the doctors surgery for some shake-n-vac ointment only to realise I am the doctor too (doctor heal thyself?) and collapsed on the couch until New Year … I will miss your morning quizzes too. Be assured that if you decide to stick around I will support your attempts at jollity. Hope to see you around …. Hugs Rose

Em - I too have posted less and less over the past few months so I know exactly what you feel!! I miss the likes of Lemon, Jilly, Juliecat and McAnne with their frivolity that had us all in stitches sometimes!! But those days are gone! Hoping you pop in and say hi now and again xx

Hi Em, It must be your own decision of course, but so many people including myself will be sorry not to see you on here. I wish you well, wherever you are posting, and success in your family research. One thing I have to add to all those who say they are not posting on here so much. that is one of the reasons the board is losing its 'soul'. If everyone continued posting, all the 'old' ones who are still members plus the newer members it could become a lively meeting place again. I still try and get on here every day and there are friends that I still like to see around, and even some who have returned like Jude and Colin. Those who have given up poting could be leaving the rest of us high and dry. Please call in and see us sometime Em. Good Luck and bless you Ann Glos
