you're right books usually are better but i like the film of Shawshank Redemption better than the short story but maybe thats because i love most things Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins are in (saying that i love Stephen King too lol). I really must go to bed now cos im up at 7 for work. Night xx

The scene in the 1958 version of Little Women where Margaret O'Brien - playing Beth, the youngest daughter - dies. I haven't seen the film in many a long year and you can't get it on video/dvd but each time it does come on the tv I can't resist and have to watch it again and every flippin time I desolve into tears... stupid old fool that I am !!! Oh Yes, and also the scene in another oldie - Mandy - where Mandy Miller is struggling to learn to speak by the vibrations from a balloon held against her mouth. Oh I could cry thinking about it. I'm off now before I make a bigger fool of myself !!!

I'm starting to think I have a heart of stone!! think I can recall crying twice at movies.. 1) The Last Batman film (2004) but I'd just lost my grandfather and was sleep deprived. 2) Nativity Story - the way they protryed Mary and Joseph was so tear jurking.
