I thought you may have had a sticky finger Ann, as you said your liked Tasha's dance :-D <3

Sorry MTG Yes I did thank you and have edited it now.

MotownGal Report 6 Oct 2024 10:45

Did you mean Toyah and Paul in the dance off, Ann?

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 6 Oct 2024 09:47

I agree that most have improved especially if you think back to the first week.... noticeably so Shayne, I did like his Viennese Waltz :-)

I'm not sure how Chris masters the steps if he can't see how they are done :-0. Again, he did a fantastic job especially as The Jive is fast and furious. Credit again to Dianne for her teaching skills :-)

I thought Tasha did very well with her Rumba, so sensual :-0. Also thought the blonde wig suited Aljaz ;-)

Punam looked the part in her Bollywood take, hopefully this performance will give her some confidence :-)

Sarah was very light oh her feet for her Viennese Waltz as was JB in his American Smooth :-)

Wynne and Sam really looked the part. Wynne was entertaining and Sam improved on her Charleston from the previous week :-)

I think all the feathers on Jamie's costume distracted from his dance :-(

I too think Toyah and Paul should be in the dance off :-0. No doubt Paul has a huge fan base so sadly someone else will most probably be in the dance off :-(. Think Toyah should go this week though :-)

Another good, if long show. I was not keen on the professional's opening dance, but that is because of movie week.

I am not a fan of costumes either but agree Shirley did look great.
I loved the Indian dance by Punam, so dignified yet happy and the audience were silent. Not often I like couple's choice, the only other one I liked was Rose a couple of years ago.

A lot of the contestants are dancing really well, lovely to watch and, yes, I liked the two viennese waltz.
Loved Tasha's Rumba and Chris continues to amaze.
I would have liked to see Jamie's dance without all the feathers, he is so light on his feet and does seem to be really enjoying himself.

Well it should be Toya (sorry edited) and Paul in the dance off. I hope Paul's supporters don't keep him in as that means somebody better will be in the dance off.

Another bum-numbing show last night! :-D :-D

Most of the contestants have improved again, but sadly a couple have not.

I am not a fan of Movie week, with the dressing up, but I though Shirley looked fantastic. :-D

I thought Punan with her Bollywood dance was fantastic. We have not seen the like on Strictly before, and it showed her heritage to its full advantage. <3

I thought the two Vienese Waltzed by Sarah and Shane were beautiful. I think it is becoming my favourite dance. :-)

Chris once again was fantastic. His jive was fast and snappy, in the words of Wayne. Excellent! :-D :-D

Wynne did a very good Mrs Doubtfire with his Cha Cha. Sam had a super dramatic Paso Double.

Tasha's Rumba was smooth and sensual.

Sadly Toyah and Paul have not progressed, and I think it will be them in the dance off. I presume it was a joke when Toyah's husband started to Boo, but thought it a bit strange. :-0

I disagree Belle. There could be another half hour of the contestants screaming up with Claudia. :-D :-D :-D ;-)

There wouldn't be a Sunday show if they didn't ;-) :-D

MotownGal Report 4 Oct 2024 19:28

Not heard that either Gwyn. Presumably he will get a buy through to next week.

I wonder if there will be a dance off in the circumstances? :-0

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 4 Oct 2024 19:22

I hadn't read that, Gwyn....hope he is ok :-)

Just read that Nick will not be dancing this weekend due to another injury.

Sadly for Tom I think he was/is not really well known and Toya has been around for years. I am obviously not qualified to judge the dancing in the dance off but as three out of the four judges voted for her she must have been better than Tom I suppose. For me the sad thing is that, if there is a footballer in the dancers they always get through even if they are rubbish.
Tom, I think, was in the middle of the combined leader board. so can't have had many votes from the public.

I didn't see it, I am pleased to say, but did you see that the result was leaked before last nights show? How mean.

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 30 Sep 2024 07:44

I just caught the dance off and cannot quite believe that Toyah got through. She must have a big fan base voting for her :-0

And on we go to the next week. :-)

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 30 Sep 2024 07:17

Well I feel sorry for Tom because whereas he was by no means the best dancer, he was not the worst :-(

He did look devastated and a bit in shock as I think he thought he had a lot more to give :-(

It tells it all when Toyah's partner even looked shocked that they were going through
:-(

I suppose that is part of the show with the public vote making for an unpredictable outcome :-0

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 29 Sep 2024 10:57

It was a good night, they all did well with some way ahead of the others and a couple way behind.

I too liked Wyn and Tasha, bothe beautiful to watch. But I also liked Sarah and Vito, he is such a good coreographer. I don't usually enjoy the paso but I liked that one, very dramatic. Paul, Toya and Punam are way behind in the judges scores so they may all be at risk. again it depends on the public but Paul will have the football supporters to vote for him so it may well be toys to go although in my mind it shouldn't be.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 29 Sep 2024 09:37

I agree Maddie with everything you've said :-D

I think this week the boys outshone the girls :-0

Again, I thought Chris was very good. How he performs to the standard that he does is just amazing but Dianne deserves a lot of credit too:-)

I did like JB's Cha Cha Cha but the stars of the show for me too were Wynne & Tasha:-D

It will be interesting to see who the public vote off but I too think it will be Toyah or Paul, with Toyah to go :-(

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 29 Sep 2024 08:25

I think they all upped their game last night, although some's abilities were better than others.

For me the best dances of the night were Wynn and Tasha. Both dancing the Viennese Waltz. Not a lot to choose between them. Beautiful.

Shane did a very good Tango, did not know about all the flack he has been having.

I think it could be between Paul with his novelty dance or Toyah to go tonight. :-(

JustGinnie Report 28 Sep 2024 13:17

Looking forward to the show tonight, haven't found a favourite yet.
Happy that Nick is dancing tonight think he is dancing an American Smooth.

Toyah definitely has to up her game last week was not good.

MotownGal Report 28 Sep 2024 08:49

First show proper tonight, again a flask and blanket effort :-0

I wonder if Nick will be taking part as he has hurt his arm. Looking forward to seeing Chris again :-)
