THE RUGBY WORLD CUP IS NEARLY OVER FOR 2019
HERE'S IT'S ANTHEM
THIS TIME SUNG BY HAYLEY WESTENRA ~ THE WORLD IN UNION
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdBR4J8nxAo
There's a dream, I feel So rare, so real All the world in union The world as one
Gathering together One mind, one heart Every creed, every colour Once joined, never apart
Searching for the best in me I will fight what I can beat If I win, lose or draw There's a winner in us all
It's the world in union The world as one As we climb to reach our destiny A new age has begun
We face high mountains Must cross rough seas We must take our place in history And live with dignity
Just to be the best I can Sets the goal for every man If I win, lose or draw It's a victory for all
It's the world in union The world as one As we climb to reach our destiny A new age has begun
It's the world in union The world as one As we climb to reach our destiny A new age has begun

HOW LOVELY WAS THAT!
And the sentiments in that song are certainly true of us friends on this thread! We are from all over the country and even overseas.... but we use our love of rugby to UNITE US .... AND NOT DIVIDE!
Come and join us here on GR's Very own Rugby Channel ;-) and CHEER FOR WHICHEVER TEAM YOU WANT TO .....
..... BUT REMEMBER .... IT'S A WORLD IN UNION .... SO DEFINITELY NO HANDBAGS ;-) :-D

Sorry Jem, not a Welsh gene in my body, so I can’t sub.
I will be able to watch the first part but we are leaving about ten to drive over to Chester. We are staying there tonight, then OH will come back home while I drive down to London with my daughter and the girls. They have been in Manchester for the Costello conference and have continued to Chester to see the other grandparents. It is their half term next week, so I get to look after them. I will be travelling back next Sat while the final is on :-(

WALES v SOUTH AFRICA ~ CAN WALES DO IT?
Warren Gatland’s men have had a superb, unbeaten campaign so far and five wins from five games has set-up a last-four clash with the Springboks which will take place in Yokohama.
Victories over Georgia, Australia, Fiji, Uruguay and France have taken Wales to within 80 minutes of the final. Now it’s the Springboks who are standing in their way.
“You get these opportunities once in a lifetime. You’ve got to grab them with both hands,” said Gatland after Wales arrived in Tokyo on Monday.
“It’s about having no regrets and that’s the message to the players for this week. I have two games left and I might never be involved in international rugby again. That’s a lot of motivation.
“For a lot of players this will be their last World Cup. They are extremely motivated to make the most of the opportunity too and hopefully we will produce a performance on Sunday"
WELL SUNDAY IS HERE ..... BRING IT ON WALES ;-) <3
