I'm to old to expect Santa to bring me lovely unexpected gifts but, begorrah, I continue to have a strong faith in Leprechauns.

There are all sorts of little bits of icing, wrapped in cling-film, in a tin in the cupboard. For reasons I cannot explain, I think I can keep them from one Christmas to the next when I will use them but I also believe in Santa and the tooth fairy!

Oh deary deary me, someone needs a humour transplant. :-P

I'm still wondering how you 'find' bits of fondant icing lying around in a cupboard.
I've got bits of flour, but they fell out of the top, and I wouldn't like to use them for anything :-(

So not so much egg on their face as meringue pie in the face...

I have been veggie since God was a boy but I have only just discovered this and was hoping to spread my joyous discovery but, as they didn't want to know, they won't be getting a meringue.

Serves them right too!

They aint a veggie or vegan as they will know that a whole range can be made from the same product,,,,,,,,,including not so bad Brownies........

In case any weren't sure my dragon comment was about breathing fire from the different end whilst sitting on the potty not any other word which might fit into the $%#^% !!

Of all the posts on here, that was a strange one to RR.

It is worth noting that some descriptive words on this thread may not be familiar to backward & shy fellows like me but they do prove that language continues to evolve.

I can only hope that this thread with sprinkles of quirky words, some needing referral to the OED for an understanding, is as much fun to other readers as it has been for me.

My apologies, Sharron, if my attempt at humour was the cause of the RR :-(
