JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 13 Sep 2016 14:07

Allan, did nobody warn you to keep off the wet grass. :-0 :-D ;-)

I hope you have the kind of surprise OH and I had when we turned 60 and contacted Sydney about our pension. Unbeknown to us (by now on the other side of the world) the company had been involved in two take-overs and, because we'd left our private pension sums with it, we gained two lump sums each. What a beaut!

:-D :-D :-D

Allan caught it drinking out of wet glasses.

Perhaps a few blandishments will be a solution to your problem Allan. Hope being superannuated isn't too painful specially as you have man flu. :-D

Barbra Report 13 Sep 2016 12:37

Allan Report 13 Sep 2016 12:32

I'm poorly sick :-(

Been in contact with many people who have had flu-like symptoms recently and now I am barking like a dog.

Have to go to Perth tomorrow to sort out some superannuation issues. Not looking forward to it if I'm still feeling off colour. We are going on the train and it leaves at 6.00am, arrives Perth 08.30am. the return train doesnt leave until 6.00pm.

A long day!

If you go via car the journey is still two and a half hours, if you are lucky and there are no snarls on thefFreeway.

Then there is the parking which is now about $10.00 an hour in the Ciy Centre

Bland, bland, bland and double bland :-D

And after a glass or two you might put away less dishes than you started with who knows.....

Sharron

Sharron Report 12 Sep 2016 13:10

I don't mind a bit of washing up or drying for that matter and really don't see much need for a dishwasher because the horrible part is the putting the stuff away part.

Caroline

Caroline Report 12 Sep 2016 12:28

Why waste energy using the dishwasher....that's what teenagers are for washing by hand.....

Caroline

Caroline Report 12 Sep 2016 02:29

Can one really ever have too much wine.......

Barbra

Barbra Report 11 Sep 2016 23:25

Allan Report 11 Sep 2016 23:01

PH, I'm not a glass half empty or full person.

If my glass is either half full or half empty, I look for the leak :-D :-D

And yes I enjoy the odd drink...the first, third, fifth and so on :-D :-D

PricklyHolly

PricklyHolly Report 11 Sep 2016 22:58

Allan Report 11 Sep 2016 22:20

Ah, Rollo; good old Rolf, the Boy from Bassendean, who for some inexplicable reason has had all association with the Town removed from public view. :-S:-|

PH, in all honesty, when I started this Thread I was suffering from a surfeit of wine. I never expected it to take off like it has :-D :-D

It has outlived my hangover :-\

And the Bland played 'Waltzing Matilda'.....

Caroline

Caroline Report 11 Sep 2016 21:58
