My OH tries to put me in the wine rack using the perfectly logical explanation that as I am already on the floor and full of wine, the rack is the perfect place for me :-|

I just find it painful when she tries to reinsert the cork :-P :-D :-D :-D :-D

Barbra

Barbra Report 30 Sep 2016 21:19

Thank You its corked so will put it in wine rack (ooh) then its lying down .Allan you are not having any :-P off for my Bland flakes didn't have any this morning ;-) :-D

Caroline

Caroline Report 30 Sep 2016 16:24

I'd say in Allan house as long as it takes to open and pour....not much longer in mine either.
A bottle; and I'm no expert; will last a while if not opened...if a real cork then lay on it's side to keep cork wet..if screw top no problem....and keep out of sun and in a steady cool temp..

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 30 Sep 2016 13:01

Barbra, it won't keep long in Allan's house. ;-) :-D

Caroline

Caroline Report 30 Sep 2016 11:33

Fish bowl sounds goods, you know where you stand then !

Allan

Allan Report 30 Sep 2016 10:57

Again, how many sizes of glass are there?

I normally use a fish bowl for every day consumption, because everyone says that I drink like a fish, and a five hundred millilitre glass for 'posh' occasions :-D :-D

Caroline

Caroline Report 30 Sep 2016 02:46

LOL
But then we're back to how big is the glass in the first place ...a few enormous sized glasses would do most of us in...

Allan

Allan Report 29 Sep 2016 22:04

Caroline, I never care about how much air is in the wine. I buy it to drink not to savour; I quaff not sip (that could almost be a heraldic motto) :-D

And as for falling off chairs, which I've been known to do whether standing or sitting on them, after consuming wine, the last time it happened the doctor at A & E gave his candid opinion that it was 'more than a few! :-|

"Bland on the run".

Caroline

Caroline Report 29 Sep 2016 15:48

I'm still trying to work out how many glasses of wine before Allan falls off the chair or even cares if there's enough air in the wine !!

and which is the best broadbland?

We have Sky broadbland, but it's gone very slow! You'd think it'd been on Allan's bland of red!
