Yes Bob, the snot caused by the snuff blocked my keyboard, and I can no longer spit the chewing baccy as far as my fireplace - the cats kept sticking to the carpet :-(

Never much liked pipes - they're not very feminine :-D

Denburybob

Denburybob Report 25 May 2016 20:14

Given up the pipe, snuff and chewing baccy then Maggie?

Well, I put on weight - during the menopause :-(

BUT, as I've stayed the exact same weight for the past 10 years, come binge eating or violent vomiting & the rest, I presume I'll stay this weight, until my body decides to make me heavier. I'm not 'overweight' yet!!
From the age of 20, when I was 7 stone, (and underweight) until I was 50, I put on a stone a decade with no positive help from me :-D :-D
I will continue to drink my weak red wine in the evenings - the kidney doc said it was good for my lonely kidney (she wasn't bothered about my liver) :-0, and, during times when my doc insisted I SHOULD be anaemic - I wasn't (which I put down to the plonk).

Besides which, photos of elderly lady ancestors show a tendency to become barrels on legs - and my g x 4 grandfather was (allegedly) the heaviest man in England at the time of his death, (that's him in my avatar) and you can't fight the genes!!.

When I go out, I drink ale. Preference is porter :-D :-D

Yes, I'm a real 'class act' - dark beer & roll ups :-D :-D :-D

Buy four litres of apple juice from the supermarket, put it in a dimijon with a sachet of cider yeast, fit an airlock, put in a warm place and in a couple of weeks you will have some reasonable cider.

No generation has found life terribly easy without some physical or mental stimulant.

I'll give you my answer after the EU Referendum. I will surely have my instructions from herself by then. Meanwhile, I’m allowed tea or coffee. Oh joy! :-|

Drink up thy zider, drink up thy zider,
For tonight we'll merry be,
We'll knock the milkchurns over, and roll 'em in the clover,
The corn's half cut, and so be we!

Drink up your cider Geordie, and get up off the mat
Drink up your cider Geordie, put on thy Sunday hat
'Cos we're off to Barrow Gurney for to see my brother Ernie,
And there's still more cider in the vat!

:-D :-D
