I regularly consume 30-40 units a week, mostly beer, some wine, and rarely spirits. Usually in a social situation, and rarely alone. I don't drink every day, never in the mornings and never secretly. I have a glass of a very good dry white in front of me now. I don't get drunk, well, rarely, never cause trouble and never drive after drinking. My doctor says I drink too much. Comments please. |

I hardly drink at all. Maybe 2 or 3 Bacardi and Cokes a week and the occasional glass of wine. |

However you dress it up, alcohol, in relatively small doses, is a poison. How much is too much depends on your age, sex and weight, but if your GP thinks you drink too much then he/she is probably right. |

My old chap is having 2 alcohol free days (actually evenings!) a week, but I reckon he makes up for it for the other 5 days/evenings, especially when the rugby's on :-D |

When my mum was put on Warfarin, she mentioned that she 'likes a glass or two of wine in the evenings'. |

I would be unfit to drive after a glass of wine or a sherry - I would probably pass the breathalyser but be done for dangerous driving - :-D |
