A quick and cheap way to make rice pudding that is almost as nice as home- made! |

When we had an Aga, I regularly pulled the 'forgotten' rice pudding out the next morning. |

Almonds/almond icing. Dessicated coconut. Whitebait (never liked the little eyes peering up at me). Not keen on my greens. I will only eat lettuce if it is in a sandwich, seems to taste ok then. I will eat lightly cooked cabbage (mum always cooked it to a pulp), but not keen on it. I don't like cauliflower however it is cooked. Broccoli, silver beet have to be chopped up fine and cooked in with other veges and mince. Have not liked any of the alcoholic drinks/wines that people have insisted I try, but then I don't like ordinary fizzy drinks either. |

I forgot to mention turnip, both bits, the greens are bitter and the other bit is just horrible. One of the better parts of being a grown-up is not having to eat any part of one. |

Vodka & Fresh Orange Juice, it's not the vodka or fresh orange juice that I don't like - it is the hangover the next morning I hate :-D |

I buy a big bag of long grain rice from Lidl and it makes a perfectly passable rice pudding. |
