	We fought a war against a vile tyrant, who was already 'ruling' much of Europe. There is absolutely no comparison to now. The rise of the far right in Europe makes me very sad, and concerned.... :-(

	The results: http://www.europarl.org.uk/en/european_elections/results.html We fought a war because Germany was conquering Europe and nobody wanted to be conquered. We would still have gone to war if the NAZIs were extreme left wing.

	70 years ago we fought a war so we wouldn't be ruled by Europe. Now we're using democracy to try and achieve the same same result.
