The aim of the European Market was to integrate Europe and prevent further war. The aim of the Far Right is to divide the Working Classes. |

Not "insinuating" that. But the method as described in the quote is not dis-similar? Play on the fear, offer the 'answer' , get into power. Then leave the electorate wondering what the hell they have got themselves into? |

Are you insinuating that Farage is to be compared to Hitler? |

pmsl Errol, the stoning scene is my all time favorite, laughing just thinking of it :-D |

It's unfortunate that someone keeps reporting ErrolSheep's comment. It is not unrelated that many people saw Hitler's policies as good for Germany when he started out, that is a documented historical fact. |

I am somewhat reminded of the scene in Monty Python's Life of Brian where the chap is stoned for saying Jehoveh. |

ah right, well yes I can see that was a bit controversial, but not incorrect per se. |

I said that the Nazi (National Socialist) party could arguably be said to be left wing and that Hitler, although he was responsible for a great deal of evil, actually also did some good. |

Agree with OFITG having watched the results and reactions throughout the night. It was a wake up call and woe betide any party that doesn't heed the message delivered by UKIP. |

BNP leader explains his defeat by saying people voted for "Ukip's racist policies instead". |

um just a small point...people often use the term Nazi incorrectly. It actually is a term that comes from the words Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, in other words National Socialist Party, the political party of which Hitler was eventually leader. |

It would appear that despite the UKIP gains, the majority of voters are still pro Europe, as UKIP only managed to win less than 35% of MEP seats. |

What concerns me about the results of the recent elections is that, senior politicians of all persuasions, are running around the media saying the rise of Eurosceptic parties is a wake-up call about Europe and that the results were a protest message about how voters feel about Europe - they do not seem to realise that the message is not just about Europe. |

Traditionally nations with financial problems, unemployment etc have always blamed the 'outsider'. |
