Jan is home but he is so tired he was saying they want to take photo of his lungs now ,mybe thats why he has to go that let 3.30 to the hosipal as there looking at the kidneys to see are they are ,im worried about him i cant sleep all night but will let you no how things go with him hes the love of my live Joyce

Hi Jude will im back to not sleeping as Jan is so tired and has loss some wide but home it helps ,hes going on insterli now sure if i have spelll it right,but at least we are getting abit of help i have two nurses one to wash and dress me ,and the other to do my legs as i have water in them,got anice will chair but i dont want Jan posting me ,not way hes not well hope your ok
And thinking about you my friend Flying Docter well going to try and sleep again as its 2.16 here and i have to be up for 6 oclock take care Love Dutchx :-)

Sylvia, should be in Italy but on the 18th was taken into hospital. I came out on the 24th but as the holiday started on the 26th I had to forgo it. I'm still not right but stronger every day. My sister has had to go alone and today was in Assisi so I told her to say a prayer for me as St Francis owes me after my 20years of taking care of sick and injured birds and wildlife. Lovely to hear from you Joyce my love to you both take care. <3 Exx

Hi AnninGlos yes he eats the the proper food as the hospital gave him abook so i do the same eating as him now ,but he has Always been good on his eating ,the docter today is putting him on cant write but the hospital took him off all the mediction for his diabetec which i also have but mine is ok ,they putting him on the neddle one,still cant remember thinks Jan thanks you everyone as first it was me and no its him but i was so upsit that i nearly lost him ,but now we have to keep one another back into health hope your ok

Hello all my friends Jan is still not well very tied goes back to the hospital on the 21 ft of this month ,i was in hospital last Friday ,one of the nurses came in to put banages on both feet as i have got water in them but i was having it hard to breath and my stomach was sweing,i also have kidney problems so the nurse send for the docter and she sent me to hospital,and i was in the same room Jan had been in but they let me come home only if anything goes wrong i promise to come back ,my Jan is so tired and does not sleep very well ,but we are now agetting alittle bet of help and will try and put on how things are going on and thank you ,your all realy good people

Thanks Liz and also Sheila for this update. Like everyone else I was worried, not having had any more news over the last five days.

I hope that the changes to Jan's diet will help the problems that he has had and that he will soon feel a lot better.

Joyce, hope that you too will watch your sugar levels and not eat anything that you mustn't.

Hi all, well I managed to get hold of Sheila last evening and she had just sent me an email.

Jan came home from hospital on Saturday with a list of foods he is not allowed to eat etc and is to go back on 1st May to see how he is getting on. I expect it will be hard for him and Joyce to adjust the diet they have been used to but they used to be naughty especially Joyce, eating things that aren't good for diabetics!

Yesterday they went shopping as they were getting low on things but Jan had to go to bed when he got home as he was so tired.

I hope to hear more as the days go on, and can only hope the new diet will help them both feel lots better.

Joyce went to the hospital on Friday and has been told she has to try and walk more to stop her legs seizing up, I expect that will be hard as she has such pain in her feet but she will need to be more mobile if Jan is laid up in bed at times.

Just hope things get better for them. Joyce's granddaughter couldn't make the trip, it would be hard for her to leave the three children with her husband but a shame as Joyce would have loved the company even with Jan home.

Joyce and Jan, it's a long while since we have had an update about both of you.

We are all getting worried now, not having heard how you both are. I hope that all is oaky. It would be nice to hear some news asap.

Welll still no contact with Joyce, and I left a message for Sheila on her phone, and no response there.

Hope things are improving, and Jan is much better

it would be good if we learned that Joyce had her granddaughter over to help her out even if only for a couple of days. Just to have someone close to talk things over with would help no end.
