Silly Sausage

Silly Sausage Report 13 Nov 2013 23:58

But my dear Susan I cant help but yarn to how things used to be
back in t'day here written in black and white
thread after thread of laughter and friday night fights,
hangbags at dawn and threats of libel and slander
some didnt sleep just kept spewing their anger.
In the morning I would read whilst chewing my toast
waiting for the thunder and eager to post,
Lines would be drawn and battles would begin
sneering and swearing and all making a bet
to how long before Estelle would take
to send me to the naughty step.
Now everyone is happy, lets welcome the peace
becareful for what you wish for and don't speak to soon
time to move over for the rants of the doom and gloom. :-(

Let's welcome the peace
And Estelle's very nice
I wish I could rhyme
Each line the sime
But I can't
So I shan't

Try again:
Mortals that would follow me,
Love virtue, she alone is free,
She can teach ye how to climb
Higher than the Sphery chime;
Or if Virtue feeble were,
Heav'n itself would stoop to her

No, can't do poems

The trumpet plays I hear the sound,
of the greenery
Play it no more my fellow writer
Tis just a change of scenery.

Move on, move on,
There's a good thought
Now away we go
Other life to be sought

I have seen the light
I am always Wright
Like my hero Billy
But Matthew is silly
And Ian even more so
Poet requires a bow.

I thank you :-D

Rambling

Rambling Report 14 Nov 2013 18:20

But soft, what light through yonder Windows breaks?
It is a thread that Susan has begun.

Arise, and come and fill the emptied board
which is already sick and pale with grief,

Her vestal livery is but dull and wan
And none but fools do wear it; cast it off.

We speak yet we say nothing; what of that?
a merry peal of laughter warms the heart.

(with sincere apologies to the Bard).

Oliver the musical
Is extremely whimsical
And that was also penned
By the immortal Bard
Yes, forsooth. Lionel was his name
He lived long before the Dame
