Nolls from Harrogate

Nolls from Harrogate Report 3 Aug 2013 16:24

As a Marzipanie I remember my mum during the war making marzipan potatoes. For some reason marzipan was much esier to get than most things can remember it being the shop in a great big round just like cheese , but what her recipe was I don't know it wasn't just marzipan rolled in cocoa and sugar so if anyone has the recipe please send

I think my taste buds have changed as I get older. I used to hate Marzipan when I was a child and always picked it off the cakes, I love it now eat the Marzipan and give OH the cake.

Marzipan.

I don't mind if it's covered in chocolate, I don't care if it's coloured strange colours, or cut into weird shapes, and I really don't mind whether or not it's with cake. I will eat it.
I <3 marzipan
:-D

Amokavid. I did not know that,, I drink organic liquorice tea, it is supposed to be very good for protecting the stomach and aid digestion. I guess it depends on how much you eat / drink.

Sharron

Sharron Report 2 Aug 2013 21:00

I usually use Colman's mustard powder but this whole grain stuff was vinegary. Don't have a lot of use for other types of mustard. I suppose I could buy the grains and grind it myself but don't really use enough to warrant that either.

I brought some fresh Beetroot last week and pickled a huge jar, it is delicious I will think of you next time I open a jar.

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 2 Aug 2013 20:55

Sharron I make my own mustard from scratch if you fancy a jar.

Paula - grass is not addictive - I checked with my parole officer.

Stuff, on the other hand, can be highly addictive.
