Right got the old keyboard down and guess what it is (so far) working good only problem it is so far away from the screen having to peer at the blooming thing. Thanks Errol a million for all the time you took :-D |

Hi again no it started suddenly and it was happening all the time every 2 words however since yesterday I can type about 6/8 words before it starts ...."A Big Improvement" ..... I was wondering if it could be something to do with talk/t... As a typist it is frustrating to type soo slowly and have to stop and sort the text out (just typed "out" but the u jumped up to the middle of "again" at the top |

That sounds familiar from previous googlings I have done Errol - real life got in the way of sorting it. It would be great to fix it if possible but right now my pit is calling. Catchoo tomorrow and many thanks. :-D |

Nolls, mine isn't quite that bad but it would be unusual for the text not to jump within 30/40 words. It's particularly despairing as I am not a touch typist so my text often looks like gobbledegook. |

Island I think the on/off button for the touchpad on your model is in the top left corner of the touchpad just below the touchpad light. |
