I was walking through Debenhams many years back and there was a tall chap walking in front of me wearing a lovely rain coat and a marvellous hat.

So i hurried to get passed him to check out what he looked like from the front.

(You know, to check out if he was worth chatting up or not!! ;-))

It was Russ Abbott!!

As i walked passed him i said......."Nice hat"

He winked and asked........"Don't you want my autogragh?"

I replied........"No thanks"

He walked away laughiing his head off.

Dont think the hat does much for me cos he wears a cap . Mind you in his young days he would wear a trilby and that really didnt suit him at all.
