I will be 65 next month. Some days I feel 90, but most days I still feel I'm in my 20's!

Drove home yesterday morning after taking OH to work (4.30am) put in my Led Zeppelin cd, sound up nice and loud, windows down heaven...... Old Percy Plant still does it for me......

I'm 75, when I remember!

As children we all wanted to grow up, then at 21 had a great celebration. After that everybody became "over 21". Forms all said "age if under 21" and nobody ever asked how old you were.

Now, with computerisation of all records, every form includes dob as a compulsory item and every Tom, Dick and Harry knows how old you are. It's called progress!!!

My grandmother always said she was 40+, looked ancient (I thought) but was probably in her 60's at the time.

There is a watershed when you start boasting about old you are! I find I have to stop myself from saying "I'm nearly 80 you know" -= though admittedly it is usually to justify getting out of things

Nudge up for some of the newbies on the boards - this thread doesn't care what you say or even if you can only type with one finger ;-) ;-)
